Don't get me wrong, I really like Halo 4's campaign and multiplayer, the community just needs more 4 vs. 4 slayer maps. The Crimson maps look like they're BTB maps, but from what I'm reading not many people are impressed with them.
Yeah the camo is a little annoying. It either works extremely well or not at all. I usually spot the little bastards hiding in corners, but the other night someone got me with the Spartan Laser while I was in a Mantis. He was crouc...
I'd like to see more retail exclusives. Microsoft is doing a good job on the XBLA front with games like Mark of the Ninja, but I would like to see more AAA games from their studios. It's not like they can't afford to.
Halo 4 is an awesome game, but not the best 360 game. I don't even think it's the best Halo game, that award would have to go to Halo 3. I wasted too many hours playing the multiplayer of 3, and I regret none of it. 4's campaign is better than 3's, but what's the deal with 4 only shipping with 10 multiplayer maps? And with only 9 more maps on the way? Anyone else tired of playing on Ragno...no I can't say it...VAHALLA? Spartan Ops is a joke, too. I won't be wasting...
This article was an interesting read. I'm really looking forward to the new systems. I'll be buying both for sure. Can't wait.
Am I the only one that is extremely disappointed with Spartan Ops? I think it's great that the community is getting free, weekly content, but it seems like no effort is being put into it. I thought the campaign was brilliant, and I'm completely addicted to the mp, so maybe that's why Spartan Ops pales in comparison to the rest of the game. If 343 would stop reusing the same maps and vary up the objectives other than pushing buttons and...pushing buttons, it might be actually worth...
The only reason I am paying for LIVE right now is the Halo 4 mp. If MS didn't have that game I would definitely go back to a silver account. With all the money MS brings in off of dashboard ads alone, there shouldn't be any additional cost for mp.
Many people are making the point that $60 a year is not much to spend for a gold account, and for some people it isn't. It's a matter of principle, what it costs is irrelevant. If LIVE was one dollar, some people wou...
No, no, no. Best movies out there are Fist of Legend and Drunken Master 2.
I thought the Halo 4 campaign was the best in awhile, and I'm really liking the multiplayer. Maps are awesome and I like the loadouts. Just got Black Ops 2 today, so I can't really judge the game fairly yet. Multiplayer is good, weapons seem like they have more recoil this time around. I think I'm a little more impressed with Halo so far, but we'll see.
Yeah, I don't see a point on beating a Halo campaign on Easy, either. Ever since Halo 2 I've always started it on Heroic, and then right into Legendary. I felt that the AI was more crafty on the harder difficulties, no point in just rolling over your enemies without a fight.
Wow. Did you play it on normal?
Yeah, I really like this game. It's fairly tactical, love the gun customizations, and the maps are pretty decent. Plus the feel of the game is different from Battlefield and Call of Duty. I'd say a 7/10 is about right. And Soldierone, that's only your opinion.
Just time-consuming. The RYNO one wasn't so bad, the golden golds and million bolt trophies are the problem. Still need those.
I'm so glad I gave this series a chance. I almost skipped over it completely because I didn't like the episode one demo. And at five bucks per episode, it's a steal.
All three of those games look amazing in HD. Definitely worth it. Trophies aren't too difficult if that's you sort of thing.
That doesn't even make any sense. Do yourself a favor and actually read the article or review before you comment on it. The point of that question was asking why skulls were included in Halo 4 if there was no scoring system attached to it. He didn't have an answer why.
I can completely relate. My little brother sabotaged some of my PS2 discs. I always wondered why my games were so scratched up even though I was so careful with them, that is until I caught the little punk sneaking the games out of my room.
Okay, wait a minute. So because you don't agree with the points Brandon brought up in his review about Halo 4, you believe that his points were purely based off of his own opinion, and he wasn't objectively evaluating the game whatsoever?
So gaming journalism is a joke? I completely agree. I'm assuming then you were commenting on the countless perfect reviews the game received, and how those reviews were also considered bullshit and a joke. Because plenty of those...
I believe he was referring to the absence of a scoring system when skulls are activated for a level. He knew activated skulls changed the difficulty.
People are taking this way too far. It's one review, just one person's OPINION. Some are reading way more into this review than what was actually said. You'd think it was the end of the world with some of the comments that were posted on EGM's website and on this one. What a bunch of whiners, so what if he mentioned iron sights? Big deal. So he said that 343 was just going through the motions in regards to the campaign, his wasn't the only review to mention this. Get over ...
I am quickly going broke. Picked up Rayman 3 HD, Super Meat Boy, and Fez. Going to pick up Trials Evolution along with the DLC, Dust, Deadlight, and the Skyrim DLC. Hopefully the world doesn't blow up tomorrow, because then I won't be able to play these awesome games.
