Original the PS4 had 4GB of GDDR5 RAM and Xbox 720 had 8GB of DDR3. PS4 still had the advantage in these setups.
Now, the PS4 has 8GB of GRRD4 RAM and Xbox 720 still has 8GB of DDR3. PS4 completely blows away the XBox 720.
The Xbox 720 is underpowered in every single aspect compared to the PS4. Go read the leaks.

Sony should focus on entertainment/media apps & social features in the next event just to mess with Microsoft. Maybe even throw in some PS Eye 2.0 demonstrations to make Kinect seem even more lame when MS shows it off. Show Just Dance being played w/ the PS Eye. Your average casual won't know the difference between Kinect 2.0 and PS Eye.

It really is that simple. Limit what your console can do and you limit the amount of customers. The video game industry will be fine though. There are alternatives.
We are in a time where it is getting increasingly hard to waste $60 on a pure single-player experience. I think the addition of MP on Ascension was the right idea and this was a prequel anyway, it was bound to be torn apart by critics. It was the perfect game to introduce the MP.
After some bug fixes, patches and some DLC, this MP mode will be ready to stand on its own.
I can tell you that without the MP mode, I would have been VERY disappointed with this ga...
