Why so fixated on the 5 million mark? A game that sells 5 million is a mega-franchise. Obviously, not all PS3 exclusives can sell SO MUCH.
1 Million is considered a success.(although for a game like The Last Of Us, it would probably need 2 million+ to make a profit).

No. PS4 would still need a Blu-Ray drive. Not only would Uncharted 4 be WAY TOO big to be streamed smoothly by most gamers, it would also EAT UP bandwidth every time you play it through the cloud. Another thing, Playstation brand is especially popular in countries where internet is even worse than here in the US.
Anyway they can't just skip from a disc-format, all the way to Cloud-Gaming. What happens to digital dow...
If Playstation Home is their "trump-card" for next gen, I'll probably switch over to Xbox.
Same goes for cloud-gaming.(Unless my ISP suddenly decides to offer extremely fast internet at a lower price)

Look at PS3, look at Vita. BOTH state of the art at the time of their release.(Vita still is).

In Japan, the launch week sales of RE6 are DOUBLE that of RE5.
In the US and Europe sales are about equal.
Do they count the weekend sales? The 12gig barely launched today so that's only 1 day of sales. Won't see much of a spike. Would be nice if sales are above 100k again though!

Did you even read the article? FIFA 13 on Vita is the LITERALLY a re-skin of FIFA Soccer on Vita. It is LITERALLY copy and paste. THAT is why it is receiving such a poor score.

EDIT: This would actually be an awesome feature for the Dualshock 4. Instead of it being used in games, it would be cool to be able to control it whenever we want like in the winter, we can turn on the heat, in the summer, the cold.
Why now?
1. Day 1 Digital. They are really pushing this and as more and more games become avaialable, it will get harder to find them with the current PS Store.
2. Xbox Live. They do yearly dashboard updates and increase visibility for popular games like Minecraft which sold over 4 million.(Doubt any PSN game has sold this much)
3. Wii U. It is coming. Last thing Sony needs is Nintendo sneaking up on them and offering a good free alternative to Playstation Net...
