You forget that COD Elite was free from Day 1. There was an optional subscription service, but that is gone now making everything completely free. Battlefield had nothing to do with it.

PS3 offers the most value at the moment.
Wii U is a great piece of technology. If you only have a Wii, I'd suggest getting a Wii U at launch.

Idiots? If you were planning on buying all MW3 DLC, getting the Elite premium was the smartest thing you could have done. You save yourself $20 on DLC.
Anyway, I have an idea of why the "Elite Drops" and going away.....with MW3 I noticed a much smaller presence on Playstation Network for the DLC.(since most people got their DLC from COD elite monthly drops.) I assume it was the same for Xbox Live.

Relying on reviews to decided whether or not to buy a game? No offense, but that is the worst thing you could do. Do you know that most publishers pay off websites to give good reviews?
What you should do is wait for a demo, or just watch some gameplay videos on Youtube. Make up your own mind. Don't let others decide it for you.
What I want to see is smooth gameplay.

Running/Walking was HORRIBLE in GTA IV. They called it realistic, I called it annoying/laggy.
The thing about the complex architecture, Sony was expecting PS3 to be the lead platform for most games, which didn't happen since Microsoft released the 360 before PS3.
So the weird architecture was actually Sony's way of trying to keep devs from porting to other platforms. They failed. It actually almost backfired.
Is Microsoft trying to kill off Halo?
First they decide to release it a week before Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and now they this.(I can guarantee that these 2 titles will eat into each others sales)
