I've been a gamer for many years now, play practically daily. Since I got a PS3, and saw what HD is like I purchase over a good 50 movies. So while I know everyone doesn't I would have to disagree if people actually got an idea of the results of a great hd movie!
EDIT: like to add I haven't bought a sd movie since last December (except Transformer had to do it). It's an addiction.
haha, these guys aren't going to go flying off the shelves on a Friday afternoon, that is a stacked up set-up though, I'd be scared to touch it. Might get a dent by Sunday. Just looked at the store location and 4 out of 6 in my area actually don't have them in stock, if they didn't receive or sold out is beyond me.
NICE PIC! I love seeing actual proof from the front lines.
It's a gaming machine therefore yes it is a niche market. The only problem is that it has had many playback problem for a great number of discs. Now with the Toshiba A2 at such a low price, where is the market for the add-on now?
Um why do you take so much faith from a personal site ran by a single person!!! No you give me NPD numbers we can talk.
I love blu-ray but don't care, because I come to this site for gaming news, not the highly ridiculous hd format war.
Sweet... now only about 358 days to wait to play this game... ahhh
This game sounds interesting to keep my eyes on.
I have to disagree Bioshock def wasn't lame, and I wont but many will disagree about Halo.
Makes no sense, Mario Galaxy is the best first party game that has come out (except maybe Zelda but sales were low for it as well) in Japan, the number I expected to be a lot, a lot higher.
It's amazing how a few weeks ago the same website was praising the title. I just don't understand, taking this with a grain of salt.
EA needs to realize that they are slowly withering away the gaming industry with their poor quality games.
Wow, that is hilarious, what were the chances. Haven't experience that hilarious of a scenario to justice the use of the camera. That was classic.
P.S. the Boondock Saints background music was a nice mix.
well I'm a blu-ray fan boy all the way... but this isn't new just pure speculation, how did this approved.
Well it would take much more than just a winter to kill off blu-ray. There are a heck of a lot more supporters in the BDA versus Toshiba, Microsoft, and a few more. Either way it's this persons ideals, but this format has some legs on it, i feel.
I mean come on, and no it's not cheaper since the hd combo discs are more expensive than blu-ray (except fox movies). All that is happening is more confusion, and a drawn out demise of the red format.
Won't they be upset when they have no Disney movies to watch?
I would have to go behind door number 2: Localization! Remember the rumble guy was bored as can be, I'm sure the rumble has been completed already because he got so excited by the Dualshock3.
Another step in the direction of delaying this war for a long stretch of time. Either way their both around for a while anyways.
It will be Nintendo, still don't understand why SE was only #8. Hmm Mario all the way!
I agree, although there wasn't much to promote, now with all these games either out are quickly approaching their release date it prime time to do so. I thought they were brilliantly done, a game commercial hasn't got me going like that in a while (kh2 probably).
Is this a competition? Solid Snake!
