You know Paramount is totally right... it's cheaper to make the HD-dvd's plus they sell less. So it works out for the profit in the end.
God, if they still supported blu-ray, you know how many copies of Transformers would've been sold, my guess easily over half a million. They know it was a dumb move.

Mass Effect looks amazing (can't wait to play), so is Bioshock (so good). Gears also yes. Halo lots think so.
Don't know about ME yet, but I'd rather play Ratchet, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, and Resistance instead of these any day. It's personal opinion that provides a AAA game.
wow, I've seen commercials for Japanese games and always wondered what the heck attracts people over there. That would turn me off no matter what game it is.
The scores for Uncharted are exactly like I thought it would be. Didn't expect to see straight AAA like most but SOLID scores across the board. Me personally am extremely happy with scores 8 and above. Looking great, and am really excited to play it next week!
Mass Effect is owned by Micros it will not be coming to a PS3 near you. Bioware has hinted to working on the PS3 in the future.

I agree with you. Everytime I go into Best Buy someone buys a 360. Makes me sick (mine broke twice) because I personally fell the PS3 is a better machine BUT doesn't have the games to attract consumers. HALO blinds many, many people in America. A game which is good, but way overrated for what it has become.
While i know Sony will lost this holiday, the way they are moving they are setting up to move ahead in the coming years, while the 360, and wii will be on the downfall. Sony's system without a doubt will be around longer than the latter.
Sony needs more games, the 360 HAS the games already. Gears, Halo, Bioshock, and soon Mass Effect. Notice the 3 big sellers are FPS which is the biggest market for casual gamers besides the wii fans. Sony attracts different gamers with their different variety of games, Warhawk, HS, Ratchet, and soon Uncharted.
What Sony needs is MGS out, FF out, and GT5 out asap to get people attention. Right now they are being drown out with the onslaught of casual gamers tastes.

As much as I can't wait for those games, I'd like to saw GOW3 is highly doubtful for 08' come to think of it I'm skeptical about FF13, and even GTA4.

God they are to the point of almost being insane.... no blu-ray doesn't count as a standalone! Oh wait we have a better attached rate when we ad the ps3's with standalone haha you suck... just ridiculous. Anywoo, 3.8 attach rate is simply horrid for hd-dvd nothing to be proud of.

I laugh when people say it's not a AAA game because it get A LOT of positives, a few 9's, 8.75m and 8.5. Seriously its a AAA game people, even if the critics opinion aren't all 9's as those above say it is a AAA game, the people speak.
I don't see why the scores have to be perfect, for an outstanding game to make it the AAA caliber put on it.
