I'm not trying to be rude here, but when did M$ ever create new IP's?
Just a port, then it might look slightly better or run slightly worse ala BO2.
But if they play to the strenghts of the Wii U then undoubtedly it could look way better.
But who's to say it would come to Wii U any way? Rock* isn't Nintendo's biggest fan.
I don't think its as simple to take the darwinian approach here. There are many factors some simple some complicated as to the closing of many dev studios as a result of this last gen. And coming into the next gen, things don't look to be ending..in fact it looks like it might continue and get worse.
Economic conditions are really f*&*( right now, and gaming is not immune to these factors.
With dev costs set to continue rising, and the gamin...
We know he's making an appearance in Kart and Smash. With the inevitable 3D Mario outing, though I must admit, I've become 3D Mario'd out.
I wish they'd bring the same passion they bring to 3D Mario and give it to his true 2D roots. If you play Mario Bros. 3 you will know what I mean, the game is just amazing..Still.
Hell if Nintendo can't beat their past, embrace it and give us a Remake of Mario Bros 3. hell I'd be down for a Ma...
FF's are now, really is a sort of an abomination of the series' roots. I can still play the classic FF's on the NES/SNES and get hooked.
The newer ones are for lack of a better word 'crap'
I think with the increase of horsepower, also allowed devs too much free reign to put in personal touches that do nothing for the player.
A shame.
I played seemed pretty lame to me. Not sure of its identity.
Give the NSMB series a rest and start making Mario Bros. Games in the Vein of the classic Mario Bros games. Grittier artstyle, more fresh content ala SMB3.
Or why not make a sequel to Super Mario Bros. 2?
Why not create a massive 2D Mario game where you actually return to the retcon world of Mario Bros. 2 AND have A Mario Bros. 3 experience also, where its like 2 games in one?
The possibilities are endless, but Nintendo is content to ph...
Will probably get worse before it gets any better.
The right kind of software.
Money are you willing to spend? $599.99?
Wait a sec, the PS3 version is technically the least impressive version of BO2..Wii U and 360 are on par with Wii U being somewhat superior, but nothing to brag about, as far as visuals go, but playing off screen as well as allowing Wii Remote support gives the Wii U version something to brag about.
Don't lump PS3 and 360 together when it comes to multiplats as 360 is generally seen as supporting the superior versions of them. And I don't think it is because 360 is ...
Pops. The ones downing the Wii U 90% of the time don't have any intention of buying one..ever. And just hate it because it has Nintendo's name on it.
I see a lot Nintendo does right with this system, but also acknowledge the things that need improvement.
I have family in another part of the country. local MP is a given, but Online MP should not be neglected either Nintendo. This is damn near 2013, Why can't I play N-Land or Mario U with family and friends not in living close to me?
'Dramitically better' is what makes this line not true. As does the idea you can play any where in the home..Unless you live in a Studio Apartment with no walls lol.
The game does look better though in many instances than the 360 version. The PS3 version is the worst looking version of the game, but lets all be honest here. The differences, graphically between the 3 console versions really is negligible.
The 360 version was the standard platform ...
Possible Orbis & Durango won't be these super spec machines. Its also possible that both those systems might bomb in sales as well. I mean just look at the Vita.
When? And what competitors? The 3DS? Smartphones like the iPhone 5 and GS3?
It better get a move on.
Well done : )
Understand why this story continues to be denied for approval.
Have to first show up.
However, your argument falls apart looking at the DS, PS1/2 and other market leading consoles whose specs were modest to say the least compared to the comp.
But the more info that comes out regarding the next Box, the lamer it sounds. It just seems too bloated. I think many Xbox gamers just want a 360 experience..only better. But instead I'm not sure that is what they will get.
M$ might opt instead to co opt this smart tv route that their competitors such as apple and samsung may adopt. And I'm not sure that's what Xbox fans want.
But best and wait until E3? When all is revealed and speculation is...
