To NX and mobile.
It's insane this is coming over. The good kind of insane.
Team Ninja only makes Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden. Koei Tecmo claims Ni-Oh still exists, but we haven't seen that game in like 10 years.
I encourage people to remember the venue Hayashi is making these comments to. Team Ninja's future games could be on PC and Xbox One in the west and still have his comments not be a lie by being PS4-exclusive in Japan.
Really? The mainline entries in those games get the majority of their sales in the west. PS3 and 360 are basically irrelevant at this point.
@GreatnessWaits You don't see the hypocrisy in that comment? There are more Vita units sold in Asia than PS4. You want less people to play the game solely so that you can have some better graphics. That's not selfish at all ...
BTW Remote Play is garbage and never a substitute to a good port.
Was anyone expecting Dead or Alive 6 and Ninja Gaiden 4 to be cross-gen?
Why did Nojiri have to sacrifice his career for Never Dead? A MGA3 for Vita would've been a great launch window game ... We don't even have the first two on PSN.
Not really. Last year felt like SCEJA was trying to kill Vita (which appears to be their 2015 strategy). They only announced obscure games that no one really cared about. Thinking it over, I believe this was all they announced:
- Ukiyo no Roushi
- Luminous Arc Infinity
- Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 (3DS port)
- Otome Visual Novels (some original, most PSP ports)
- Senran Kagura: Estival Versus (PSV/PS4, though they tried to pretend it was a P...
I hear there are some issues with this port that might warrant some waiting. It'll be on sale again.
There won't be a third Sony handheld.
The game runs on UE4. I don't ever expect it to come out on Vita.
So it's "only" full price?
Sony should give their handheld business to Bandai Namco since they're supporting Vita more than the company that made it.
It's a Sony port of a a Capcom port. Two of the worst Vita supporters were never going to put something out good.
This is actually an early development kit. I wouldn't assume anything on it was intended for the consumer product. Current Vita development kits still have HDMI out.
In Japan most people have the 2000 model. The manufacturer is a Japanese company.
Looks great!
It is a killer combo, as in Sony killed Vita for PS4.
The problem is cultural and it's on Sony. Instead of doubling down on Vita being their main platform in Asia and PS4 elsewhere, Sony murdered Vita and is now attempting to put a square peg in a round hole. Japan clearly has moved on from home consoles. Last gen proved that without a shadow of a doubt. PSP's hardware sales in Japan nearly eclipsed the combined totals of PS3, Wii and 360 - and that's despite PSP being the #2 platform of that gen over there! Games like Dragon Quest X...
Interesting that all of them use Roman numerals except 6.
Port this to Vita lol
