Out of curiosity… what was the expectation in the first place?

The last two movies, especially the last one didn’t exactly set the world on fire though

30 years… so many fond memories gaming on the PS with people i loved that are gone now.

And some not so fond memories… that damn save cartridge haha!

Yes considering the IP, 19-26% isn’t really that crazy.
For context google and apple wants 30% for selling your console and PC games on a phone.

For some reason i could never get into the original FF7. Really enjoyed 8,9, 10 and crisis core though.
FF7 remake on the other hand, one of my all time favourites… kinda sad it’s coming to an end soon. Maybe they can come up with a FF7 sequel? Fingers crossed

My friend some people just too close minded and uneducated to accept basic facts.

Regardless of political inclinations (Biden also imposed/increased tariffs). A Tariff is a tax on the importer of goods that are imported. The importer pays for it not the exporter.
So when you put a tax on something it becomes more expensive.
Really not so complicated a concept.

Whether Trump actually goes through with it remains to be seen, but the imp...

@bartfart

I didn’t say there would be tariffs. You asked “how would tariff affect this product “ .
Implication here is if there was a tariff what is the impact?
Thus my answer.
You’re the one that needs to use your brain. Your name bartfart not brainfart right?

What do you mean how would tariffs affect this product?
It will make it more expensive, this isn’t rocket science you know?

Don’t think this will be a bad game.
8s maybe?
Hopefully it’ll be as great game, my reservations on the first person gameplay not withstanding

This TIGA awards is a joke.

Best Action n adventure game (hellblade) barely has any action (that you comtrol)

Best Narrative (TLOUS2) is a remaster

Best use of license (spiderman 2) is from October 2023

Solar panel???
Jezz
How about propellers so it can fly like a drone?

470d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I was thinking the same thing.

Unfortunately most younger gamers wouldn’t know this

Copycat? totally
Doesn’t look cheap to me. If someone told me this was s horizon spin off i would totally believe it.

471d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

Yeah. I guess you are right.
The game does look pretty slick, the flying thingy is pretty cool. Clearly effort have been put into this.
But if i were put in so much effort to do something, i would rather it have my own unique character to it

Well China is still a mixed bag.
While they have managed to get creative to a certain extent, but a share chunk still relies on copying the last big thing.
I suppose everyone does it to some extent, but some in china does it shamelessly.
Shows china has more to go when it comes to creativity

Clearly inspired by Astrobot

Ultimately all these cost are paid by the consumer.
The xbox shop takes a 30% cut to begin with, on top of that it’s another 30% by google and apple. What you’re left is 40% for the developer.
And gamers bitch about games being expensive but seem to back such policies by google and apple. This is kinda like voting against your own interest

Think about what you’re saying.

Imagine if MS collects 30% for digital online transactions you do on windows pc.

471d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Apparently physical goods are not applicable, only digital.
Which seems arbitrary (maybe not given it much thought). What if they suddenly decide that they should also collect 30% on physical goods?
For me this is basically potentially like a tax on everything phone related. Not good for the consumer, because ultimately we are the ones footing the bill
