I don't know why everyone is focusing on the graphics as COD4 had some very nice graphics. In fact I would go on to say it set/met the minimum standard of graphics I would expect out of the current gen hardware. When I finished the game, all I wanted was a part 2 so that I could continue playing. I want a great story with great characters over them focusing on trying to improve the graphics as if that is the end all of end alls.

will be realized once extremely fast wireless internet is globally available so that you can play a PS3 (or PS4, 5 etc)game via remote play on a PSP2, 3 or whatever is out at that time. I would use my PSP a whole lot more if the infrastructure is in place for this. Now that would be awesome as it would be as good as having a portable PS3 with you, on the go and access to all your stuff on the hard drive!

It outputs the best quality and sound beating my now unused dedicated DVD players. So besides playing games, it is the main TV viewing machine after the cable boxes. If they let us watch cable through it in the future, then it will have taken over my living room.
Ease of use and quality are top notch!
Finally, they added splitscreen!!! Now I have a good reason to get a friend over to play some UT3. Otherwise this game was gathering dust. The Single player mode is boring after a while. Is is 2 or 4 player splitscreen???
Heavenly Sword was a underrated game. It has the best voice acting of any video game I've ever played! It was also a generally good story and fun play through.
Uncharted deserved it's praise that was one summer blockbuster of a game!
after getting the game yesterday and playing for about 3 hours...all I can say is holy cow!! I already could see the graphical improvements in the same scene as the demo however, more importantly, the fire fights are intense!
Definitely the smartest AI enemies I've ever played against to date. They don't seem so scripted like in other games. If you think you can stay still and keep picking them off one by one then you shall be in for a surprise. Even my fellow soldiers look cool ...
This game looks cool! in a silly, enjoyable way. I actually might get this as so far it looks like it will be fun and have some good beats to support all the violence you are about to unleash. The graphics from the trailers surprised me. It all looked quite cool.
Apple need to do only two things to sell a ton more iphones:
1) Sell network-free phones worldwide. Or in other words let the buyer be free to select their own service provider.
2) Drop the price to around $200 worldwide.
They would outsell almost every other phone manufacturer in a very short time. In fact keeping up with demand will be their biggest problem.
Wow, that does not sound good at all! I agree with you that the graphics of Shift look promising but I'm also worried about the speed at which that game has been pushed out. I played MGS4 on a 180inch projected screen with full surround sound and the experience is unmatched till today.
However, it is important to play in total darkness. Though for outright maximum clarity, a HD LCD TV beats any projector. Tough choice: Do you go for maximum size and atmosphere or for maximum clarity?
If they just pumped out an Unchartered every year with a new story. I'd buy it! The graphics and story telling were very good in the first one. All I know is I have bought 2 xbox 360s. The second one was bought after the first one got RROD and my warranty was up so I had to do 'keep it alive' as long enough till I bought a new one. The only reason I bought another one was to finish Gears of War 1 and now also Gears of War 2. Therefore, these numbers must include all xbox 360s that were never returned for warranty from people like me.
