considering there is no packaging or freight they should be much cheaper than retail.
prices won't go down if there were no retailers. then they could charge what they want
it was published i think and there prob was a deal. it has MS gaming studios or something at the start. a shame for other gamers and maybe for redlynx depending on the "deal" with MS. not only is it a great seller but also a consistant one.
i would normally say it is pretty sad for the current best game to be a xb live one but this game is just too awesome anyway so was inevitable. the user made content is already top notch and it has only been a week. a game that ...
do you know what you get when a console manufacturer owns tons of your favorite studios? disappointed when they close them down, that is what you get. of course speaking from EA's history of buying and closing but you get the drift. i'm a bit bitter towards the whole big company owning little company mechanic in general. good for short term but long term is a worry.
once
another exclusive FPS is no loss for anyone. it will not be a must buy, it is an FPS. it will be generic as they come and nothing new
don't care anymore. after buying DA2 at $100AU and playing it for half a day i will never spend money on that series again. decisions have consequences... dumb down the game and lose the hardcore, plain and simple. i bought the second based off the first's awesomeness and will now NOT buy the third based on the second's lazy cashing in of the first's awesomeness (if that makes any sense)
do you not think it is the media who is hyping? when a game gets popular it is the media who goes nuts, these guys just answering questions which in turn get taken out of context.
and then everyone thinks it is the developer. of course it is hard to understand being on the readership side of things. think for yourself for a change, how else does the media get you to read their shit over other shit?
uncharted is linear, this is open world. i doubt it would ever look as good.
Motorola (MSI) the company is huge. most of their products are not consumer. you are talking about motorola mobility (MMI). the company split in the beginning of 2011 and now google is buying one part.
10 year lifespan does not discount a successor before then, it just means the PS3 will be on shelves for than long. they will be sharing that shelf with the PS4 soon enough.
the optical media capacity no longer comes into the argument when both consoles are out of date regardless.
owning a 360 i have never needed to change a disc mid-game? more n4g fanboy BS just to prove some non-existant point. so i have to change the disc during installation, big deal... next?
Sony have always been known to lie their asses off when announcing a console yet anyone that says this gets shot down in flames. nothing like letting a fanboy war get in the way of the truth. just call it like it is. they release pretty damn good hardware BUT they still bullshit about the specs beforehand and disagreeing doesn't change the fact they are known for it.
don't bash sony on n4g. your disagrees will always far outweigh your agrees. my point is you are wasting your time. fanboys are no different from religious zealots. go and tell a christian their religion comes from astrology and see where you get.
the game itself is enough for me.
aside from BF3, the rest on your list didn't bother me playing on console. BF3 of course because of the player count, everything else is perfectly fine on console. but then again graphics takes a back seat to gameplay for me, even on a 64" 1080 screen
does anyone get excited about a CoD release anymore?
it was about 5 years too late. CoD already milked the crap out of respawning linear FPS. but the multiplayer was a bit fun and may rub off on other MP games in the future hopefully.
they will buy up and close down many of your favorite studios before their downfall though.
