i have such a love/hate relationship with that game.
YES! i want to see the demise of CoD just the same as when tony hawk fell from grace. if a game makes money developers should put that money into improving the next installment. if a game makes a shit ton of money then they HAVE to put that money back into the next game. anything else is just taking the piss.

i know. we don't need analysts to tell us when a game is being milked. i haven't been able to play CoD single player since CoD 4 and even then, aside from 2 levels, was just a cinematic walkthrough. for some reason (thanks activision) EA now thinks that is what we want.
and multiplayer... i played BFBC1 instead of CoD4 and have never looked back. just my opinion, i am not telling people they shouldn't play a game they enjoy, that is just dumb.

thats the point though... too many assasins creed's yet we are only just coming up to AC3? it has been a little milked but i haven't played anything after AC2 so i'm good.
and most games, including skyrim, are just becoming a boring chore to play. they feel like an actual day job. go here, do this, rinse and repeat. there needs to be new creative ideas in the delivery of the quests or something.
a new engine is well overdue.
BF has evolved since BF2 with every release adding something new to the engine and gameplay. but then again, i was the only person in the world that preferred BC1 to CoD4 both SP and MP. CoD has stalled but don't forget it is activision. they have not got where they are by wasting money. guitar hero, tony hawk, CoD etc etc are all for milking and never considered to be that different from the previous. EA has their sports titles for this

i prefered the parser interface. there were some funny responses when you typed something wrong. point'n'click seemed to make the games easier, too easy most times

what would ever make you think EA have changed their ways? all they ever do is reinforce their DLC position. look at tiger woods and the heap of courses released for DLC before the game even came out. you would think in buying a golf game you would get all the course currently available.
