does anyone get excited over a new CoD game these days?
rock solid? you seem easily amazed
not a single thing interested me... sigh
i think it is apparent MS should have shown their next console as they have nothing left for this one
whatever the issues are millions of people are still playing it. they are not game breakers and most will eventually be dealt with. This is DICE, they never release and forget
one of my favourite games gets expansion packs... i couldn't be happier even if they cost me a couple of beers worth for each expansion. it really isn't that much when you calculate the value (cost vs. playtime/enjoyment)
your loss
only a fool thinks their console of choice doesn't copy other console ideas. this is how the industry (and most industries) advances.
easier to port games from 360 than build them for wii u initially. much harder to port from PS3 though. it will take some time (couple of years) for the devs to get up to speed with the new system.
CoD is not a yearly release like EA sports games. it is released ASAP and the first day sales of any CoD game would obliterate the payment given to these guys. this is why EA and activision are evil, they can afford to be
5 x more like CoD
Big or Bad. it could be the next big thing for them or their kinect. the internet streaming is still an issue in the sense it is not consistent for everyone. it may just be ahead of its time and fail for that reason or it could hit the market at the perfect time, no one knows the future.
yeah i basically said a pile of crap without even saying anything
BC1 is still my favourite BF game. i think the first intro to destruction had me hooked. all the sudden there was no place to hide
but SA really isnt that different from 3 when you look at 3 compared to 2 (or anything else at the time). personally i prefer VC to either of them. i finished 3 and VC and got bored halfway through SA and havent bothered since. GTAIII was an awesome effort, i IMO i don't think they have done enough since then. i want a living city or at least fooled into believing it is. the popup and vehicle vanishing just seems to get worse and worse with each new GTA.

Doom3 sucked
killstreaks - what a lame idea for a military shooter. why go out of your way to make the game look realistic and then have killstreaks in the game.
single player - idiotic respawning, linear handholding
multiplayer - kill streaks
overall game - biggest FPS franchise
HOW?
it flat out disagree with this article. consoles demonstrate the value in a closed system. no upgrades necessary every time you buy the latest game, it just works. hardware-wise you get a lot of bang for your buck, it is just that we are at the other end of the lifecycle for current gen consoles.
handhelds are not selling purely because of phone and tablet game sales. every niece and nephew i have once had a DS and now have iphones and ipads instead. they dont even touch the...
i thought san andreas was a step backwards from vice city. i really enjoyed that one and havent really cared for them since then. just didnt seem to have the fun i had in that one. i will buy the next one from the bargain bin i think, they have really run their course IMO.
by now i want a living city but they seem to be getting worse at it the more they shoehorn into the game. turning around to go get a car that just passed me, 9/10 times it vanishes.
kind of the opposite.
