First off, I feel the game is geared towards a PC user, but ported to the console to gain a bigger audience. The PC audience tends to have more patience and gaming experience within these unique genres, whereas consolers tend to want to flop on the couch and shoot, shoot and yell "cool brah".
Secondly, the fact you were surprised it was a survival based game is extremely cringe worthy. I don't know how you judge hype for a product, but from your semi-review it...
Every Playstation article reads the same "Check out all these PS4 games you are missing out on!". Then you read the article and all games are Multiplatform except for 1.
Someone should of finished high school, their math is terrible.
Yeah no surprise, list is full of PC ports. Thought it was a true exclusive list.
Personally it looks (feels) more like it's a Dead Rising rival with more survival/crafting elements than over the top humor. Definitely looks like it could become a franchise over time with different protagonists. Just like Dead Rising, it will will sell decent, but nothing crazy like other AAA games. It looks beautiful, I like the soft spoken, tragedy filled biker character. My only complaint, much like other games, is there is no reason in 2016 to not have a cover system in third person...
Another PS interactive movie game with nice graphics? Seems like that well is deep because they keep hitting it.
I keep reading and hearing the same thing...
"We’re very proud of what we accomplished with the first game, but we also realized we needed to push the experience forward. We scoured the forums, read every tweet and every comment."
Yet no specifics on the feedback, that is straight PR cop out BS. I don't care what the reviews are, I'm not touching the game until its sub $20. Anyone can say "We listened to what you had to say, buy the...
That's the whole point of AMD...lower price with not as good performance, but competitive.
AMD vs Nvidia
AMD vs Intel
Same thing.
Why do people always think consoles never use all it's "power"?
Developers efficiency just improve a bit working with the hardware and texture compression because they are more familiar with the SDK. That's why 1st party developer's games are always better than 3rd party, they have more resources than other studios.
Feels like it, my dust collecting PS4 still has the same trashy network infrastructure, decade old technology and mediocre games. Even my throw away $200 laptop can play games in native 1080p 60 fps.
Obviously no one.
P.S. Sorry I hurt your feelings!
@Crotaaa
Never thought about it as a possible April Fools joke...but makes a lot of sense.
Seriously a 4K console...where a console has NEVER been able to do NATIVE 1080p 60 fps yet. Most console users cite the reason for buying a console is because of price, well that means you have to buy a 4K tv AND the new console. If you're that broke to have to play on a console over a PC then you can't afford it anyway and the people who can probably have been ...
When they say community, they mean PS4 users.
I love the PC platform so I don't have to interact with console douches. Last thing I need is hearing some teenie bopper yelling the 'N' word and talking about how powerful his 2005 PC equivalent console is.
I bet it smells like a remake...
"Xbone has lost to PS4 in everything that actually matters"
I remember hearing the same about Xbox 360 vs PS3.
The important thing to remember, comparing a console against another is like comparing which turd smells better. No one wins that war.
@Kryptix
"it does have better graphics because if you really look at what this generation's consoles can do for Uncharted 4 and The Division.."
Obviously you have never owned a PC for gaming, the Division looks like balls on consoles, but not just the graphics...the HUD too. I am running Division on the PC in 2K Ultra settings on a mid-tier PC I built for $1200 2+ years ago.
Image what Naughty Dog could do on actual modern day s...
That's some funny logic there. I guess that means MILLIONS of PS3 owners who played Heavy Rain the first time moved to Xbox One....
Commonsense would dictate that if you never played the game the first time you could also buy a dirt cheap PS3 and the games you missed out on, but hey that silly logic always gets in the way.
Maybe the people who loved the game sooooo much the first time wants to play it again...guess the game wasn't that great if they f...
If a game is being remastered/remade/rehashed it better look like going from VHS to bluray or it's pointless. I find it hilarious how people get so excited over playing the same game they played before with a character wearing a vest that looks more shiny. It seems like this remake fade is being milked the most by Japanese companies.
In other news, Sony announced a new console called PSremake...it only plays remastered games and the console itself is a bit shinier.
"The Division is more fun with friends, but lets face it, what game isn't?"
The fact so many people are told this to be true is what hurts the industry. Studios become limited because they feel they have to give "what the consumer wants".
I have played Division both solo and co-op, and what is preferred depends on the personality of the person. I personally enjoy going solo much more. Why?
Others will always dictate ho...
Where is the hype for Deus Ex? Super high for me! The environment is going to look incredible in 4K.
Mass hype from the console casual gamers...None. Lets keep it that way!
