Well except those other 50 million people who "own" a PS4 and didn't buy UC4....
Red Tunas are in danger of extinction...can we please add them to video games for social awareness!
Where are the PC exclusive games? I guess no one buys PC games....
When did I mention Skyrim should be included in the list?
Comprehensive reading is not an exclusive skill.
Wait a second, I got a bit curious after looking at the numbers again. Why doesn't the article use the same benchmark for all games? Why are some using 3 week sales and others using 1 week or 2 week or 1 month?
So I picked a game just to compare. Nope, I am not an Xbox LBW and I could care less about them.
Gears of War 4 (Xbox One)
Yes, I know it is sold through the Windows Store for PC so maybe they didn't use it as an "exclusive"...
Gotta love statistics...
Numbers say Skyrim sold 3.88 million copies on PC as of January 2017. Yet there are over 11 million users on steam who own Skyrim and 5.8 million who own the Special Edition...and those numbers don't include other PC clients Skyrim are sold on.
So weird.
Xbox doesn't have anything since they realized console gaming was a waste of their time. Their business model is purely a universal content device. No one plays multiplatform games on a console unless they have no choice.
I asked the same logical question in an article for Horizon sales and all I got was moronic comments about how UC4 is already a proven series, whereas Horizon is a new IP. It was a very comical way to dodge the question.
Either the average PS4 owner has 6-8 consoles or numbers are being fudged, but don't tell that to the Sony Loyal-Branding Warriors. Consoles...a way to justify being a casual gamer.
Of course they still matter. It's the only reason to buy a console.
Yeah I noticed 100% of Playstation articles that have a list of "exclusive" games always have multiplatform games.
And the #1 upgrade to a PS4...... *drum roll*
Buy a mid-tier PC.
Such terrible scores for such a big name game.
The good news is there has been plenty of time to cancel preorders and get that refund, no excuse to own the game and talk about how bad it is now.
Imagine if it sells more copies than perfect games like Horizon and Zelda...makes you think.
The internet.
DERP
So you actually just read all the comments, selectively passed over every single time I have said I AM NOT COMPARING UNCHARTED 4 SALES TO HORIZON and still went there? Did you bump your head?
Uncharted 4 numbers were used as a reference point. Why? Because it is the best selling PS4 game to date. It would be stupid to only use a 2 week old game as the only reference. Again let that sink in while you take a breath and think.
"Your jumping to conclusio...
1 + 1 = 2
For a standalone console game, it's pretty amazing it sold 20+ million on the PC.
Which variable did I forget since I am NOT comparing 8.7 million to 2.6 Million?
Since Lime123 seems to be the only one with reading comprehensive abilities, let me put this in a simplified way so others can understand.
If you have 100 people on your friends list then...
16 people bought Uncharted 4
5 people bought Horizon
Why aren't more people buying the best games available on the platform?
"but we know that AAA multiplats sell the best on PS4"
Mafia 3 sold 4.5 Million in its FIRST WEEK...which platform do you think it sold the most on? That's for a subpar AAA game.
Hint: Neither the Xbox One or PS4 broke 1 million copies TOTAL to date.
That's not even using easy examples such as GTA5, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Doom, Witcher, Battlefield, Overwatch that have sold more on PC than any console.
Another article about exclusive games and 3 of the 5 are on PC...not really exclusive. I guess the Xbox LBW need to keep up with Sony.
Sony is on the right track. Keep pumping out 5-6 high quality exclusive games each year, maybe get some 3rd party exclusive games in the mix.
Nintendo is a blackhole for games. They need to follow Sony's footsteps and get more 1st party games out, with a new IP once in awhile. Their failures are not due to lack of 3rd ...
