Curious about your opinion why the game isn't worth playing multiple times?
and the many of games before Witcher 3...
I guess if Nintendo starts building cars they can take credit for that too.
Yeah, basic 1st grade math takes a lot of crunching to do. Thanks for the cryptic and incoherent reply.
"Notice the 4 after Uncharted."
Are you trying to say it's the 4th game in the series and not a new IP like Horizon so that's why it sold more? Well, I hope not that would be derpy since Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 were not initially released for the PS4. Obviously, at least to Captain, my comment was not comparing Uncharted 4 sales to Horizo...
Shrines say Hi.
"Zelda: Breath of the Wild sets the standard for open-world games"
Did I read that correctly?
I guess whoever wrote the article just played their first video game ever.
P.S. Why is there a PS4 tag for the article?
"The number includes both Blu-ray disc sell-through quantities and download version sales on the PlayStation Store. "
January 4, 2017
(Global Sales)
PS4 - 53.4 Million
Uncharted 4 - 8.7 Million
16% games to units sold
February 11, 2017
(Global Sales)
PS4 - 54.82 Million
Horizon: Zero Dawn - 2.6 Million
5% games to units sold
Obviously PS4 units sold includes:
- Households that have multiple PS4 consoles
- People who had a PS4 and traded it in for a PS4 Pro
Console gaming is expensive, these are games you get for a $1 on PC, well $4 for a couple of them.
Could you elaborate more then what you find comparable between Far Cry and Zelda?
Other than "hallmarks of Ubi style open world games" you have provided no other details. I would love to know what structures a survivor shooter and a fantasy adventure share. I have already mentioned "region towers" that open sections of the map when unlocked, which has been done by many games of different genres and developers.
I assumed when you said Far Cry you were focusing on "region towers" and saying Ubisoft games just confirmed that. Yes, BotW does use that open up sections of the map. Besides that, there is nothing else in any of Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs and especially nothing in the Division or Wildlands that would even put them in the same genre of games.
You do realize Far Cry is an Open World First-Person Shooter? That's like comparing the new Mario with...
I have been seeing that comparison a lot. I am assuming you mean Primal, which I found to be the worst of the Far Cry games. Far Cry is more of an Open World FPS and basically only compares with the open world tag and mountains.
I have also seen Witcher 3 comparisons, but they couldn't be any more different. Where as they are both open world, tons of content and 3rd person perspective that is where the comparisons end. Witcher 3 has an abundance of RPG elements that Bot...

I'm assuming that 10 score means out of just Nintendo games. For once I would love to start seeing unbiased reviews of games, but I guess this is the best you can get from hack sites.
Haven't even clicked the article and saw "along with polish that you just don't see much of anymore". Really? Optimization issues? Open world with major pop ins, frame drop...

Haven't even clicked the article and saw "along with polish that you just don't see much of anymore". Really? Optimization issues? Open world with major pop ins, frame drops with 30 fps (MAX) and that's using non-photorealistic art style...awesome in 2007.
...
The fact the best case scenario is 30 fps...no one wins performance wise.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a 10/10...in 2006.
Let me help everyone out.
New title: Rise of the Tomb Raider with HDR Vs Rise of the Tomb Raider without HDR.
I think I saw a few comments state how good 4K looks, yeah I spit my breakfast sandwich out laughing.
But can't I just put my Zelda Skyward Sword Wii disc in my Wii U and....play it yesterday?
I am very interested in playing Recore. I know it's going to be a very short game, but I am more worried about how it will be optimized for the PC and how it is distributed. Hopefully it will be available outside the Window store after release and it doesn't play like a console game then it will be a solid pick up.
Yeah, sadly I was one of those people who was super excited about NMS. Tried to support the game until I played it, instead of jumping on the unHype train because that's what cool kids do...complain about everything. Well I didn't care about multiplayer, would of actually refunded if they added multiplayer, but I tried the game myself. Other than having a gazillion generated planets with different colored creatures, it's no different than the other sci-fi survival games I already ...
"Obviously, at least to Captain, my comment was not comparing Uncharted 4 sales to Horizon."
"I just showed, using numbers and not opinion, that roughly 5% of units sold are playing a purchased copy of one of the hottest games right now."
Not exactly sure why this is tough to understand. Not trying to be insulting, but is English not your first language?
