Cyber Sub is a completely different character that plays like a Cyrax-ish Sub Zero.
It seems the Cyrax and Sektor alts are in mostly for story mode, which shows the story of the Lin Kuei automation in this era, with smoke getting away and subs getting the robo-treatment. As for the clown, it's anyone's guess at this point.
The screen shows something similar to the joker fatality of MKvDC, but if he's a random secret character, a hidden fatality or a frea...
it's an alt costume, don't use it then... Seriously, I'd rather have cool alt costumes and "magic" nets than NOT have them. Yes, it would be cool if they get the same mechanics implemented differently, but if they don't, who cares? It's a cool alt
EDIT: Fun fact, they both have the same fighting stance as their robot forms, further providing evidence that they are probably just alt costumes without new animations.

Klassic Costumes are unlockable via the Krypt, pre-order just gives you early access without having to use Koins in game.
Online code is so people don't go buying the game used. I see no problem with it as it in no way affects you, the original buyer of the game.

Cyber Sub Zero is a brand new character. Scarlet (Lady in Red) is DLC and will be a brand new character (she was a color glitch in MK2). Other than that, all of them are returning characters.
If Ed Boon's twitter is to be believed, Shinnok, Rain, Tanya and Robo-Smoke will be the upcoming DLC characters with Bo' Rai Cho being considered.

So Lupinko now has horrible spelling and talks like a immature fanboy. This really adds credibility to your "leak". And yeah, it's a well known fact that Doc Ock and Frank are already coded into the game and that Electra was removed when they removed Frank to "balance" the marvel/capcom side numbers.

LOL, seriously, who the hell would buy shadow mode (ie: AI patterns) stuff when the game has a online component!!?

Quan Chi, Shinnok AND Fujin are the only post-UMK3 designs I've ever liked, glad to see he's in.
Cyber Subzero, since the timeline was changed, it seems smoke got away but sub-zero ends up getting the lin-kuei cybogization treatment.

Notice how Sektor has something on his arm, and Cyrax has what looks to be the bombs hanging from his belt. I guess a couple of new animations and these costumes could make perfect sense.
