I agree some what, the game was more mature, but those child like voices fit the grunts. I think it a reaction like a certain power from a weapon knocks them back and they go "Whooooo" their pack leader dies they say "ahhhh oooooh" nothing fancy
I would like it to be set in 1860's so I can play as Conner's father, and learn what caused him to rebel against his unit, plus how he got a hidden blade and ended up on a boat to the u.s
I also beat the game today, and I'm satisfied with what 343 studios did with this game. The Prometheans was a breath of fresh air.... The one thing I didn't like was the fact that the grunts funny one liners and screams were down graded. I love the different style of weapons it was a great experience
She is fine the way she looks now, she is A.I. so the things that should become crazy are her voice, her processing of information, like telling you there is no danger when there really is. sending you in the wrong direction. causing the suit to go haywire.... like intermittent shield display. Since I'm a few hours in the little I saw fit.
It's sad to see prints and paper backs floating toward this direction, but this is the signs of change, things have to evolve. Some changes are so strong, it changes the very way we live, changes corp operations, or even shuts popular business down ( anyone want to buy a Sam Goodie?) and with the push of digital media, hardware, and software improvements the next generation will see books and paper back information as primitive. Not extincted, but like the horse and carriage. Well known, ...
I'm deeper in, and to be honest, I'm not as pleased with the actual game play. To be honest I've found the controls and camera angles to be a large issue the fact that there is no block button is beyond me and no real detail to polish combat skills are present in the options menu. The story and direction of where it is going is good, but I simply can't get over the cumbersome controls. I feel the assassin asspect of the game are the sloppiest of all the editions.
May...
Got you, I'll continue on with it, his father's story is longer than I expected from an ac game
The game is ok, I'm not enjoying the pace it drags through game play and feel the controls are a lot more cumbersome than the previous ac's
that's all wonderful, and as a series on a console no one is disagreeing with you, but you can't sit up here and tell me that part three was as epic as part two. I understand their is a bias because of GOW's appeal as a whole, but part 3 was the weaker game, nothing truly stood out outside of the graphics. The story wasn't that epic it was a basic continuation of part two no twists no turns no surprises. The jaw dropping moments were seen in the demos, and you were truly happy...
Yeah, I agree with you Cuddlemoney. The game was just alright even the ending left me a little underwhelmed
Yeah, gears of war is a perfect co-op war game, I do however, want to see it on the 720 with enhancements of course keep the core duck and cover, but also want to see the enhancement in enemy A.I. I wished Gears of War didn't End like it did, but ahhh well.
I agree with that. There is a story behind it all the emotional attachment is all brought out from the story created around the main character. As specially if there are 45 min worth of video explanations
I disagree, because their are many games that have drawn out emotions greater than The MGS series. Lets take The Legacy of Kain Soul Revere series just as an example. That series had so many strong emotions for the characters, we were led to believe Kain was actually evil, and with the story unfolding around Raziel **spoil alert**** being left for dead, killing his brothers, finding out how he became a vampire while pledging his loyalty to vampires only to find out someone else is pulling t...
Ok, I understand what he is trying to say, but sorry I don't buy what he said. Lets take BIoshock for example, The story line was complex and interactive. Yes we were thrown into a story not knowing what was going on until we got to the final stages. Yet, we felt the emotions of the character through interactions with the balance of what was understood to be good and evil, and the cause and effect of following the actions of what we were manipulated to thinking was was good and evil thro...
The only people it has failed are those who never gave it a chance in the first place. I like kinect because its more than motion controls. Mass effect used voice recognition to open doors change wepons command troops.
Kinect brings much more freedom when it comes to bring you closer to real life interaction. For example I read the new splinter cell will use voice reconition. You can gain the enemies attention by whispering near the mic. Ghost recon future soldier you can br...
Exactly my same thought process. I dislike these kinds of methods done by companies, and lately we are seeing multiple slimmer models for the same product with really no reason for us, already invested, customers to upgrade... or should I say down grade. Besides having the money, or the freedom too. It's one thing if the slimmer version kept the specs of the original(2007 model) just smaller, or upgraded specs and smaller for a cheaper price but to shell out more money for a product I alr...
Lol, I don't get caught up in the slim, light, rehashed models of anything, unless there was a model defect or major improvements from the original model. Like The original Xbox vs the Newer Xbox Slim. I refuse to give a company more money just because of a design change when the system I already brought for two times the price I paid does more, and looks better.
Now if I didn't own one, and couldn't afford one in the past this would be great!
I would like to see a true ending that, without a shadow of a doubt ends it all. I hope Koj. Updates the controls there an old set up and give me gadgets that are instrumental to the advancement of the game. Like classic metal gear games no need to have 100 guns and half of them don't really improve the advancement of the story. Last thing, I would like to see shorter cut scenes, and more of the story played out. People may disagree with me, but let's. be real
In my opinion, video game systems have reached it's maximum potential as stand alones. This is not to say we can't be dazzled by them, but in order to go beyond this level, chances have to be taken. One thing we all have wanted out of video games was the true realism of each game. However, in order to reach that realism, what we know about video games have to be either changed or enhanced.
I love this list, but I can't help to think outside the box and say, what if ...
I do understand how you feel, and hopefully 343 introduces us to new things from their universe. Although they seemed identical in class, their characters were something else, and in simple terms they were annoying as all hell, as specially them punk a&* satellite looking things
