Geeze, it's no surprise. People have been saying Xbox was going to fail for years. So it's only natural that it happens again, that comes off the nostalgia of the ps brand, and the disagreement of Xbox choices in the gaming industry.
Now, I don't agree with everything, but I'm not calling nothing a failure until it physically doesn't meet the demand and is completly taken off the shelf by a company. Also, people need to stop basing nostalgia on the life s...
@jamurida. I think kinect can do it, because all the pieces are there. look at project spark. also think about short mini games of hacking things, making a hand motion to signal time out or set a play, taunt. Or having to react to an environment. For instance bright lights blur vision so by shielding your eyes with your hands in front of kinect gives you vision to advance. It's a new way of gaming. Kinect is not perfect, but it with an imagination it can and will surprise many
I humbely disagree because kinect separates the two products from each other and if used correctly can add something different. Gaming has to evolve from just standared controller inputs. It's time for games to recognize when we are frustrated and toggle the difficulty from our emotions, body language and fical recognition. voice commands that change the dynamic of how we play a game.
However, we can't move forward when gamers fear change, and blow things so out of p...
I, actually have a wiiu and preordered the xboxone. I'll hold off on the ps4 for right now it's the voice commands that attract me and change the atmosphere of my game room
Let's just say the system is released in nov, and a majority of launch window games make it out and play just fine.... What will all this talk of ms running on a different setup prove? Nothing! It's too the point now people are just reaching for whatever negative press they can find, blow it out of proportion, and get as many like minded people to follow suit.
Some are legit concerns, but a lot of it are just so blown out of proportion it's ridiculous. I mean if ...
You mean since the FBI. They've tracked every mover Martin Luther king made. The same tactics that were used to break up the black panthers were used on two popular rappers that are now dead. Forget Bush, He's Ronald McDonald or a face of a power with someone pulling his strings. Same goes for Clinton, and Obama. Now whoever else lands in office will have the same faith.... O
This is so blown out of proportion its ridiciulous now.Let me let you in on something Redhawk... You're already a slave. You have an identification number that tracks your every move... A physical form of currency that keeps you in debt, a system In place to keep you that way. Lets not forget there are electronics and services outside of the xboxone that pin point where you been, and let me let you in on another secret... They've been doing it since the 60s.
The go...
I liked it when I first saw it. It had used a balance of game play and voice commands that were very responsive and the creativeness of the game seems endless.
I preorder mind from the Microsoft store, and got free over night shipping
I'm not going to sit and moan, and figure out mathematical theories . I don't care if ms used a high end apple computer to show off their games doesn't maker feel any kind of way. Now if it doesn't work like they said when I purchase it than I'd be upset.
Miley that's the thing ms is using drm to protect there investment and have to have something in place to make sure xboxone games aren't just being passed down, system being modded, or hackers trying to get over. People don't understand that the game can be played without a disk in the tray from any system as long as you are logged in. With no drm, that leaves the system open to such threats.
Consumers have to understand you don't fully own a product to which...
But whose legitimate ? There are more people that will take advantage of a situation then those who wouldn't. Ms has billions of customers. You think they are going to just leave their system open? There has to be measures to protect the investment. That's why there are penalties on all products we buy. Just because you brought it doesn't mean it's out right yours you can do whatever you want.
Man please, if I could get away without having to pay for produ...
So I guess ms should just let hackers modders and people take advantge and have their way because the consumer feels a few seconds of an Internet check once a day is unfair? So if you were a business you wouldn't protect your investment?
It's to make sure your system hasn't be illegally modded or taking advantage of modded games. Many think its ms looking to start some sort of gaming holocust, but it's been implemented because people started to modded the 360 and burn 360 games, so a measure has to be taken to stop this kind of thing.
Same goes for programs on the apple computer and iPhones. Product is restricted and can only be shared with a limited number of people same goes for windows based programs. Your right to exclusively own your product is gone. Take your iPhone (if you own one), turn it off and charge it.. See what happens. It turns right back on and charges. Call your cell phone company and turn your data plan off...if your cell provider even lets you. My point is, no one really has ownership of anything. We ca...
Naw, I don't think so, from the looks of it MS is aiming their brand at a specific customer, and before you say it's not right, and ms is evil and all that hogwash. Apple, Mercedes Benz, Rolex , and other companies aim at a certain demographic, at a higher price than the competition, and they are very successful. At the end of the day if the games are revolutionary, and the machine offers a better experience with expectional service. While the competitor offers nothing new to the ta...
I for one thought dead rising was a decent game, with promise (speaking from the first game) the lack of seriousness made it a slight turn off. This one maybe good... Maybe
Now choices are good? When xbox360 was giving choices it wasn't ok.People complained that the Xbox was giving choices " nickle and diming" with its different price levels. Now it's smart business ?
@pinbit, no one had an issue when ps3 forced Bluray down people's throats... I heard no gripe about those issues, Bluray was one of the Main factors why ps3 came out on the steep end. There were no worries there. If we gonna complain about the xboxone than complain about Sony Pratices too. People are just reaching for things to make them feel better about there purchase. We have been living in a always on Internet world for years. Download a game from the playstation store and try and tr...
I totally agree with that statement. The mentality can be very stubborn, and clearly indecisive. The biggest disappointment I have with the gaming community is how over blown certain subjects can become.
