Being a graduate of business, I have come to understand that it's premature to state a company is making a mistake if they release or don't release said product because its an advantage. The market is so unstable, and takes more than just past patterns to really figure out who would win. Lets look at the Nintendo, Sega area. Nintendo was the house phone. Everyone had it, Sega released The Genesis it wasn't until Sonic the Hedge Hog 4 years into the life span of the genesis made th...
I really like how this is turning out to be. I actually like the weak point detection slow motion aspect, The combat reminds me of a mixture of Ninja Gaden and God of War. I hope they change the button lay out of this game in my opinion they need to be revamped a little
I love me some Wind Walker, It's been a while since I've played it. It's not your typical Zelda which was a change, and that Got DAMN DAMN Tingel, or whatever his name was. Pissed me offffffffff! It's a great game, but I don't think I can replay it just off of it being HD..... I don't know heres hoping the price is cheap
I agree, I think what did it for me was the closed quarter action, with the lighting effects. Have you tried Dead space for the tablet yet, its pretty damn good! I had an ipad before I sold it and I had that game on it, and man was it good.
First off, Dead Space 1 was my sh^&!!!! I never really got the chance to play the 2nd fully, but it was shaping up to be my sh*& ! Here is hoping that Part three will be .... my sh^t
FIrelogic, I don't think it's gimmicky at all, I've seen what the controller can do, and with the right creative mind it becomes more than just a regular standard controller. I liked how Zombiiu incorporates it, Aliens COl. wars the controller screen is your tracking device can be used as the scope site on a rifle. Can play mini games similar to grand theft auto china wars where you can hot wire a car hack defuse bombs hold it up to scan objects etc.
My problem i...
I have Zombiu and NBA2K. I had Mickey mouse, it had promise with a lot of vivid color, but the controls and poor presentation made me tire of the game really fast. All in all the wiiu is a great machine
I agree with you a little bit, however, dvd was an unchallenged format. Where as blu ray competed with hd dvd. Since there is an alternative to blu ray where you don't have to pay a license, or royalty fees to a competitive rival, plus eliminate a large amount of piracy, why not use that Avenue? From a business stand point it's Genius because there are third party companies like netflix, Hulu and others that upscale to HD qualities. With Xbox live these avenues can be reached with out...
The idea of the writing is spot on. If I were MS I would just use the HD/dvd formate for the games, this way you open more space but don't side with the comp. for those who want to see blu ray movies stream it from a partner company using xbox gold. there are really cheap blu ray stand alones god knows how long its been since I watched a dvd or blu ray on a console, but that's just me
KevPC, my bad i phrased the question incorrectly. My point of what I was trying say. There was nothing spectacular outside of maybe Blu Ray at that time xbox needed. PS3 was ahead as far as hardware, but that doesn't win the race. Take the original xbox most sophisticated machine, but wasn't no where near the ps2. However, I do feel you on a few things about the xbox.
KevPC, it's not about having more games its about games that appeal. Just because the ps3 may have more game studios doesn't mean, people will automatically jump to it. Each console has its share of games that appeal, I'm a gears of war, halo, and favor the xbox 360 controller. however, I also play games like god of war, Drake, and little big planet. I'm curious to know, what did microsoft add to its system that ps3 originally add?
Sorry, I have to disagree with you to a certain point, if MS didn't care about the customer they wouldn't have fixed and extended the warranty of the console. They just would have said "oh well, buy a new one. once the warranty was up."
Now, in normal cases, this problem should have killed the 360, but the 360 at that time had the most sophisticated online experience, cross chat, and games that appealed to the west. On top of that, the 360 controller was th...
I just noticed that myself. I was disappointed a bit
This is not true at all Rivet, Reviews are short summaries that contain only facts. Take the news for example, when the reporter is reporting the news aka reviewing the stories of the day. In no way shape or form do you hear them give their opinion on the stories.
you are exactly correct, in college my professor taught us how to write a review the correct way.
" A review is clear of any opinion. it states only the facts, and leaves bias out. An example of a review would be the news. When a commintator speaks on a crime it gives the facts, the who, what, where, why, and when. In no way does the comintator place their opinion with in their casted review of the scene."
He would give F's if our writings read ...
Well, I've learned from experience that Nintendo's ideas usually become industry standards. However, in this industry, it's not who standardizes the industry, it's who takes the standared and does it better, for example, the anolog stick introduced to the home console by the nintendo, but enhanced and done better by sony and microsoft. With that said, Nintendo has to do more than make this controller the industry standared. It has to be seen as the most own controller even whe...
"Too many explosions and extremely bright lights" you're kidding me right? it's an intergalactic game with a mix full of human weapons alien lasers, and space age military/alien vehicles in, you guessed it... A war like environment. The story was not that complex to understand either, it's really simple compaired to other games, and in the writers defense we players sometimes lose track of the story in the battle with other objectives that need to be done.

"alas poor nupraptor I knew him well...well not really"
It looks promising, I want one on launch day, but their isn't enough for me to really sway me to get it on launch day what's your opinions on this?
I think I'm the only one that didn't like Castlevania Lord of the Shadows. I felt like it didn't have it's own identity along side the castlevanias I've played. I felt like I was playing cut and paste of other games, rolled into one. I loved the monster concepts, but the game contained to many cut and pasted elements of other games, God of war comes to mind.
As far as this interview goes, There is nothing wrong with a reboot of a series, however, castlevania...
