I’m on the battlefield. I’m stomping through the corpses of my comrades swinging my sword at anything that moves. I begin a combo, I slash twice and then whooom slow motion is initiated, shit is about to get ‘cinematic’. A button prompt hovers elusively above the sword I’m about to drive into the throat of my enemy… argh I’m too slow! The prompt flickers, disappears.
I missed it. Damn.
But then somehow, for some reason, I still complete the cinematic ‘kill’. ...
I am going PC, WiiU and PS4. They all have their ups and their downs the Ps4 nearly fulfilled my expectations except that they are not keeping online free.

The difference is the PS3 had state-of-the-art-tech, Sony had built an engineering marvel, and unlike MS today, they were making a $200-300$ loss on each console.

Sony if they get a significant lead in the first year MS will find it VERY hard because
a) The Ps4 is MUCH more powerful and cheaper.
b) Word would have got out of how PS4 games look better the Xbone games, you will see a difference on 3rd party games because unlike last gen, the Ps4 and Xbone have a very similar architecture.
c) Causals would catch wind of MS's anti-consumer policies
d) Most retailer...

FYI, on Gametrailers the PS4 has more games and more exclusive than the Xbox One has of now. And Sony's other 29 development teams (there are 14 studios made up of 29 dev teams eg. Guerilla has 2 Amsterdam teams, Evolution has 2 teams) are all going to be cooking up something

MS had a very good show, I agree with you. What I do not agree with you is the games, Sony has tons of games on PS4 that you wont find on Xbone and Sony has 29 development teams(14 studios. Trust me Stig and SSM have been working since GOW 3 on their next game. Guerilla have another team making a rumored fantasy WRPG. Sony Sandiego has two teams, Sony Bend, Team Ico, SCEJ, Sony London, Media Molecule, Sucker Punch's 2nd team, Naughty Dog 2nd team as well as HouseMarque and Q...

But MS did show more games and I was impressed and I am sure you were too but just admit you are definitely not a Sony fan.
The premiss and graphics are great, but all that QTE....hopefully it plays better than it looked at MS's show.
Still a bit disappointed about the online pay-wall......but $5 a month with all the bonuses of PS+ is a fair deal but considering the PsVita has party-chat and cross-game chat at no charge I am disappointed. Still its better than MS's offering.

Its a fact MS showed more games yesterday but I cant help but wonder what these studios are doing.
Fallout 3 was my favorite Bugthedsa game, I also like TES:IV.
I have played all the games on that list, I would say the only similarity between any of them is either a) They are set in a post-apococolyptic setting b) They are RPG's C) They have over the top weapons. The Fallout series is fairly unique, in a way its a shame their no first party alternatives from MS or Sony to give Bugthedsa a run for their money.
