I don't know there was a thread on Neogaf that said the PS4 costs about 400-490 USD according to mass-production prices. However I would be very happy with $349 and if the PS4 under-cuts the Xbone considering its "50%" more powerful, it should fly-off the shelves.

MS had a Q & A session after the reveal. One of the egineers gave some details on the the gpu. As for the RAM it can go up to 109 gb/s but has an average of 68 gb/s. Both consoles manufacturers have yet to fully detail their CPU but then again according to an "insider" the Ps4 CPU Liverpool archetecture gives it a slight advantage over the One.

The problem with the Xbox One is that it doesn't get rid of the box under your TV all it does is daisy to chain to your cable and amplifies the user experience. Smart TV's will soon have Google TV (maybe the Ps4 will have it) built in. Smart TV's will also have camera's that can track your fingers. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Sony's future Smart TV's had Google TV and the PS4 built in. MS is betting on the wrong horse. Cable boxes aren't the future.

I loved Oblivion on Ps3 and now on PC(amazing mod community). Oblivion was my favourite 7th gen game until I discovered Demon and Dark Souls.
That is easilythebest scenario for Xbox fans. I still do not trust MS when it comes to numbers like 1 BILLION USD and 200 gb/s bandwidth and 4 times the power in the cloud. I hope MS truly has invested 1 billion-dollars in games that doesn't include ad. campaigns and NFL deals.
We will see. Although some people are impossible to please.

The problem with the X1 is doesn't replace your cable box it's an add on.
So many resources are wasted on non-core functions. It's just simplifies your TV experience, something Smart TV's are doing. The Ps3 has sold more software than the Xbox 360 and don't think the world largest entertainment content(Sony Pictures, Sony Music) holder wont have anything in response to MS's exclusive TV content. Personally I can't wait to see the future of fantasy RPG's having played the Witcher 1 and 2 I can't wait for the 3rd and I am sure one of Sony's highly regarded studios is working on a RPG.

In WW2 the Nazi's would strap explosives to dogs. To feed the dogs they would put food on the wheels of their tanks. The dogs would learn to associate tanks with food. The Nazi's would then starve the alsatians (German Shepard) for a few weeks and then when enemy tanks came nearby the dogs would run at the tanks before they blew-up. <<<<Imagine the outcry if you could do that.
