Sony did make the Ps4 for me, if they didn't make it for me they probably wouldn't have made it for the majority of gamers. Truth is Sony did it for me and for their fans because Sony knows theirs more money to be made in the long run by treating their customers with the respect they deserve.
Sony wants to make money and lots of it just like any other 80 billion dollar a year corporation but they are in touch with the needs of their customers.
Im going PC version this time, if it was on Ps4 I would get it for PS4.
Your right but I think we can ultimately judge whether this move was good when the game releases not months before it releases.

MS did not do it for YOU they did it because Sony forced them to otherwise they would loose market-share.

CD Projekt RED are an amazing developer, I hold them in the same category as Bungie, Rockstar, Fromsoft and Naughty Dog. I think the Witcher will look great on both platforms with the Ps4 version maybe having better draw distances, slightly higher res textures and a more stable frame-rate but nothing that noticeable.
Yup. If MS or Sony can land exclusive ICC or IPL cricket rights for video games then they could gain mass appeal just like how Madden has mass appeal in the US or Fifa has in Europe.
You fail to see the unprecedented economic growth India is undergoing and will undergo until around 2040. According to Barclays India will be the worlds biggest financial powerhouse with China in 2nd in the year 2050. Their is a reason why Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, HTC are all building faculties in India and investing billions of dollars in India.
When the China bubble bursts India will act as the new growth engine of the world. There are over a billion people in India, even if only 5% of people live comfortable lives that is still a massive market.
A billion-dollars cant buy talent like you find at SSM, Naughtydog, MM etc. and Sony stiil has just less then a 3rd more development teams 32 vs 25.
