The way that was calculated was misleading. The Nielsen ratings are not straight forward. Length of viewing was way longer on superbowl. Game awards were basically just watched during the windows where there were game announcements.
I think PlayStation will eventually follow suit to some degree. They’re already going to pc with most things. They may not put EVERYTHING every where like Xbox but they’ll be more of a third party dev than they have been. Nintendo will never bend the knee I don’t think.
They’ll keep making hardware for sure.
Yeah but not in a good way. ID say telling fans to hold on the exclusives are coming and then when they do, abandoning exclusivity altogether is not the best way to keep the hard core fans.
It’s good but a really hot take to say best co op gams ever
I will keep game pass for sure because it is a great service, I just meant I don’t think PlayStation fans are gonna get an Xbox to play a game they will be playing on 6 months anyway. No matter how good the game is.
Xbox fan here. Astro deserves the win for sure. Even if GK did the right thing and had rhw show in January so December games could be considered it still deserved to win. Indiana jones would definitely be n the top 5 for me though. You’ll make fun of that til it drops on PlayStation of course.
I think it definitely deserved it. Indiana jones was a distant second for me.
Xbox fan here but it doesn’t help being on game pass when everyone knows it’s coming to ps5. You don’t get new fans when you put everything on everything. It’s good for consumers but not for your own brand. Great game though. Probably would have been Xbox’s highest rated exclusive in 20 years.
You’re obviously not a fan of games and rather a defender of GK if you think there was one surprising winner tonight. I’m not saying some of the games that won didn’t deserve it but there were definitely the games that were made and promoted just to win like some of the movies that won Oscar’s especially in the last 20 years or so.
This was the highlight of the show. I predicted every single winner other than the esports stuff. These shows are so predictable. Way more so than the Oscars. And I didn’t even play some of the games I knew would win. GK is the biggest grifter in earth.
@flewid why would I have a bad taste? I have a ps5 and a switch. I play on all three systems. It’s just obvious you were trolling. There is plenty to blast Microsoft for but game pass isn’t one of them.
@solozelot99
My marriage is great but thanks for the advice lol we’ve been married 12 years. She’s a stay at home mom and our kids are homeschooled so I see them from
When I wake up til I go to work and on weekends. If my kids were in public school I’d definitely not be on second shift.
I mean I have a full time job and a family and I have plenty of time. I get off at 11:30 and when I get home everyone is in bed and I play games til like 3 and then I’m up by 9 or so hanging with my family til I go to work. I don’t need to play games for 16 hours a day to warrant having a service like game pass or ps plus. It pays for itself fairly quickly
No I didn’t limit myself. I wanted to play every game I played. I’m not saying it’s for everyone at all. I’m just saying I have a family so I can’t buy every new release that comes out. Like right now for instance, I’m playing stalker 2, cod black ops 6, and the Spyro collection (with my daughter) and enjoying all 3. I do have a ps5 which I use when they have an exclusive I want to play, but on a day to day basis game pass is just the better option for me.
Troll much? 🤣
Yes but that isn’t even in the ball park of how much it would have cost me to buy all use games. I completed something like 27 games this year multiply that times 69 bucks and it shows even more what a deal game pass is
I haven’t paid for a game in like 3 years so for me game pass is perfect. And I’m yet to not finish a game I start before it’s removed. I have 300 hours in persona 3 reload. 100+ in starfield. 50 in stalker 2 right now. Im never lacking anything to play.
We already have a third person Indy game it’s called uncharted im glad it’s first person
People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.
