It’s funny to say that when of the three main consoles Xbox is the only one steadily pumping out games right now. Most of Sonys success this year has been with formerly exclusive Xbox games. That’s just a fact anyone can look at the numbers and see that. Sort of weird to dunk on Xbox and then play their games in droves I.e. forza horizon 5 and Indiana jones.
The idea that the focus on third party is bad is really dumb. They only have really 3 launch titles and one of the issues with the switch was its inability to run a lot of the biggest games. They have addressed both of those issues by highlighting third party support.
Yeah it’ll happen across the board. When is the last time anyone bought a cd for instance, or a blue ray. I bought a good bit of 4k movies and they’re even hard to find now in stores.

Them being profitable doesnt mean the market share isnt shrinking. The comments made were by Sony and I’m pretty sure they know better than you what is best for them. Nintendo will be the only company in the end that doesn’t go full multiplat. That’s just the way of the world.

Companies don’t hire executives to break even. If the goal is breaking even then why start the company in the first place.

Yeah I agree. I had my wife constantly monitoring when a ps5 and series x became available and just lucked up to get them both at launch. You could walk in and grab a switch 2. The surprising thing about the switch 2 sales is how many they’ve sold with such an ass launch lineup of games.
I’m not making the argument that these games were always Xbox exclusives but had Microsoft chose to they could have made them Xbox exclusives now in which case you’d have nothing to play. Look at the numbers in the past year. Games published by Xbox are being feasted on now by the same people that come on here and act like Microsoft is dead lol
If nothing else the Sony extremists can spin anything. Even South of midnight is better than anything Sony has put out this year. The truth his the Sony brass tried to go all in on games as service and they wasted 4 years on it and now they have nothing. They can’t even do their version of game pass right. It’s been a mess since nice the day Layton left.
