The card system was what turned me off. The game isn’t bad at all though.
If that was a Microsoft studio the narrative would be so much different.
Returnal was very good technically but had it not been a souls like I think it could have been incredible.

I can’t see anything beating out tears of the kingdom for game of the year. Because I constantly hear Sony fans ragging on Xbox I sometimes forget Nintendo crushes them both with their exclusives. Even with tears of the kingdom running at 19 fps and looking basically the same as breath of the wild, no one can touch Nintendo on game world design and gameplay.
Not taking anything away from the breath of the wild or tears of the kingdom, but I’d give anything for a new game more like the classics like a link to the past.
I bet Elon Musk would trade all his billions to have the skill set to make neat things in a video game………..
They don’t hate money enough to ever put their games on sale that’s for sure.

I wouldn’t say that most Xbox outlets are padding the game. Even Phil admits it’s sucks. I get you’re trolling but I mean no one save a few people are giving the game high scores.
I mean I liked Friday the 13th on nes and it was one of the worst games ever. People like what they like. I don’t get attacking someone for liking a game. I’ve played redfall and it’s just okay. That’s what makes it so bad to me. If I was awful maybe it could be good the way a b horror movie can be, but by just being so incredibly average it’s almost worse than being terrible.
That’s the only thing I don’t like is that most of their exclusives are great but they’re just the same over the shoulder 3rd person adventure crying simulators. I’m not saying the games aren’t good because they are, but I really wish they’d do more stuff like astro bot. That to me is the best ps5 game and showcases the controller better than any other game they have

That makes sense actually. I am sort of fatigued by open world games. I really enjoyed the last case of Benjamin fox and last year Stray. I think the older I get the more I appreciate a 12 hour game here and there.
Let’s say for arguments sake that tears of the kingdom is a 6 out of 10. Then what the F*** is redfall? And again, I am a fan of Xbox. But my God!
I didn’t like the story told in TLOU 2 but it was polished like all Sony games

I hope it is linear to a point. I don’t need every game to be 100 hours long. I don’t think we’ll see it at the showcase though. I don’t think we see Indiana jones, fable, or perfect dark. It will be a lackluster show. I think the best game shown will be senuas saga. Cumpulsions game with be there. Contraband which I think is a huge mistake after redfall bombing. Probably the long rumored gears collection. I think we may have a surprise from square enix. A surprise in that finally a long awa...
The last thing I want is another multiplayer game. I want a game with a huge scope that allows you to be any race, Jedi, sith, bounty hunter, with decisions that matter.
