I would rather have a remade silent hill 1 before 2 but I see your point. Silent hill one scared the crap out of as a kid . It was creepy in a way resident evil has never been.

It was actually a good move strategy wise whether you like Xbox or not. It takes what was already a sub par Sony showcase and makes it even worse because pretty much every game Sony showed is coming to Xbox other than ff16, Spider-Man, and phantom blade. True. I will say Spider-Man and phantom blade looked incredible. I’m primarily an Xbox guy but I’m super excited for those two games for sure. I don’t get the fanboyism. I play games that look interesting where ever they are.
Some of the indies looked cool, but I was expecting maybe a teaser for the next horizon game, ghost of tsushima 2, maybe more in wolverine, possibly silent hill remake, etc
I don’t trust Xbox to take advantage of it, But Sony really left the door open for Xbox to have a better showcase than they did. Spider-Man and phantom blade were all they had. Snake eater isn’t an exclusive so I don’t count that.
Are you Jim Ryan? You’d have to be to be that excited about what we’ve just seen. Phantom blade looked great and Spider-Man did as well but other than that it wasn’t very good especially after a two year absence from doing a showcase.

Phantom blade was clearly the highlight of a very meh showcase. Meh for Sony anyway
I would love to go back to one protagonist. I still prefer gta 4 to 5. I also liked San Andreas for the ability to workout and change your body. GTA will never be what it was before the dumbass multiplayer became so much of a part of the game.
It beats the launch lineup of ps5 and series x. I still say the best ps5 game so far is Astro bot and no one talks about it. It made use of the new controller better than any other game has.
Most of that is true, but I would argue the Xbox one launch lineup of games was very strong. Ryse son of Rome was very underrated, dead rising 3 was solid, killer instinct was great and should get a sequel, and for a forza Motorsport 5. People that haven’t played ryse crap on it, but it was very enjoyable and looked beautiful.
I think the reboot on ps4 is the best in the series. I’m not a r&c super fan so maybe it’s just me, but I definitely think the last two games are the best.

No it doesn’t! I don’t know why people keep saying this. No matter how good it may be it’s not gonna win the generation. Now are Sony fans gonna downplay it if it is good because they can’t play it? Of course! Are Xbox fans gonna exaggerate how good it is? Absolutely. None of that matters. One game isnt gonna win or lose a generation especially in the opinions of people on this site which are probably the most toxic group of people aside from Reddit and Twitter keyboard warriors.
