I'm kinda in the same boat with you when it comes to those terms but calling other people "x" year olds is just more of the same.

I've never had an issue, people living in fear of losing their games. It's going to be fine stop being so afraid someone is going to take your old games away from you.

They are still selling well, there is a market there they wouldn't want to miss out on. As long as they can justify a porting cost, Xbox games will continue to come out.

The only way I can see them stop putting games is if they make a conscious decision to combat the Game Pass because if Game Pass is successful, they are looking at lower profit margin because they will have to play by Game Pass rules.

If we isolate the PS5 and XSX, they account for 52% of sales.
79% of current gen sales were on PS5. That's a 4:1 ratio. Based on recent number, PS5 is around 13m and XSX at 8m, that attach rate for PS5 seems a bit drastic when put into perspective like this.
I think we can also say that majority of PC gamers don't possess a PC capable of taking advantage of all the bells and whistles that the positive side of PC gaming offers and are stuck with only the negative side.

PC games have garnered a certain level of scrutiny because of the issues that console games don't have to deal with.
You can choose to ignore and dismiss them but it won't change the reality. Playing the victim card is cute though.
The machine design in the first game was just amazing. Even with the best gear they would put you back in your place if you got sloppy.
Hearing that they are more mobile now has me excited to see more.

I'm more interested in the fact that they have to re-license historical footage constantly. At what point is it not worth it anymore? I can't imagine a lot of people are buying MGS Collection.
They had a deal with Square where they would begin to get more money after the game sold a certain amount. Which ends up being really shady when Square goes off to the side and puts the game on Game Pass where it is less likely to sell. They come out with the money based off of that deal and the games aren't considered sold.
There has been no follow up to the story as far as I am aware. We are just left to speculate.
