I don't know about that. I'm not sure I'm buying that Gearbox was nice enough to take out the story to spare my feelings from being hurt because a certain portion of their players weren't too fond of it.
As opposed to them creating this (which they had to actively put in extra time and work to produce) in order to get you to buy the Delux version of the game.
People are going to be upset about the story regardles of what they put out be...
I understand why they would do it but something like this usually goes up for free to everyone, not as a part of a service.
Just makes both Gearbox and Sony look bad, not to mention gives their fans the short end of the stick.
Literally nobody wins in this interaction.
Just a one time thing.
Was looking forward to Godfall but reading up on what the Challenger Edition actually is making me wonder how anyone could approve that and think it's something acceptable to put out.
That's the spirit! Keep the expectations low and then wait to be surprised.
Perhaps dial it up just a tad bit from a Yippee to a Meh or something.
Yeah, Spain also "leaked" the games so it's pretty much confirmed at this point.
2022 is going to be insane.
We might have a better idea of what they are working on after the VGA. I would be surprised if Sony didn't show off a couple of new things.
I love the fake outrage you're having here. There is really nothing to justify though since we have no price yet and even if we did, nobody is forcing you to buy it.
Spoken like a true fanboy though with the name calling and everything, keep up the great work.
I would love to see a Mass Effect style remaster for the first two Witcher games.
That's cute, you honestly think you're a neutral gamer.
Gave me a good chuckle.
Sounds like you want to dictate how much a game should charge based on the amount of people working on it.
You sure you want to go down this path?
I can't really think of many remasters that actually preserve the multiplayer. It's the first thing that gets cut it seems.
I don't think FPS part is the problem, we see this happen with most F2P games. They see the success a small portion of F2P games have and want a piece of the pie.
I think as someone who can afford to buy games, F2P business model is just a slap in the face because of the practices they use.
I'm an adult who has no trouble paying the full price I just want the whole package. The fact of the matter is that if you put $100 towards a F2P game, you&...
One of the biggest criticism has been over the prices. Doesn't take the whole team to make those a bit more reasonable.
The version here seems to be PS4 version. Upgrading to PS5 is free when you buy the game so it would be nice if that was the case here as well.
I'm more curious as to where they go with the gameplay next time around. The obvious choice would be to make the other characters playable as well, perhaps even co-op.
I just hope it stays as a contained SP or co-op experience.
If this turns out to be correct, it's looking like a solid month as far as I am concerned.
Fans of Halo keep defending the game even though they got the short end of the stick. It's something I'll never understand.
You used to get the full game for $60. You're now getting the SP and co-op campaign for $60 with multi-player being "free" with microtransactions. How is that in any way better for the Halo fans who would have bought the full game anyway?
I think the difference for me in this case is that it's a PS Plus game and they are just giving me a demo instead of an actual game
If this was just on the PS store I would be fine with it, people have more choice, fantastic. As is stands right now, it's just a demo to get me to buy the rest of the game.
They had a perfect opportunity here to give out the full game and then get you hooked for the DLC and future content.
