Meh, they had a warrant found the data was erased and asked Sony to see if they could recover the data from their end. If Sony handed over information not requested by warrant then I would look a little more closely.

New games just came out. Who is starving for games. With all these articles about how gamers backlogs are growing and people are still trying to push a narrative that there is nothing to play. 2017 had a bunch of great games I still haven't made it through.

Personally I am okay with this. But it feels like the people who hate the idea assume that Sony and Nintendo won't change to make more money and that has been proven time and time again to be false. (Online services, Season Pass, DLC, Micro Transactions)
