Yeah I was hoping for ripped footage from E3 players since I heard they broadcast that... I was working so I didnt get to watch any of it.
I dont agree with that statement but I dont care who they give the franchise to to create I just need another Fallout game. Give it to arkane studios for all I care. If Howard has an awesome new Idea let him go play. He does brilliant work. But dont let Fallout sit because of it.

I remember an article about "The Last of Us" putting the female on the front when the Marketing people wanted her moved to the back for fear of lost sales.

There is nothing wrong with making a game with a female lead.
I think a strong game with a female lead would do really well. Maybe the problem is there hasn't been a strong enough idea yet to make one financially viable.

Oh I do... And It was a great little game. I really enjoyed FEZ and bought it day one. I will probably do the same with FEZ 2 as long as I am alive when it finally releases.
And we will be told out in 2015 and we will see it in 2020.
Hopefully he can manage to complete this faster since he has the resources from FEZ and without all the internal issues FEZ had to deal with.

I totally agree with you and understand what you are saying but in both those scenarios WE actually received value for the adoption. XBL requiring high speed we got to see what value that gave us instantly (playing Halo with no lag that I can remember but then again it was over a decade ago), Paying for XBL was fine since at the beginning it allowed me to play Halo with my friends who lived in a different city. In this case they are saying the value is COMING. They have not shown in any case...

A Press conference for them to answer questions about exactly how this works would be nice but as they refuse to give examples I have a hard time trusting its as easy as they make it out to be. For instance how are the 10 family members determined? is it by IP address? How do they know who is family and who isnt? Do we have to live in the same house?

I agree with everything you have said i just havent pulled the trigger on pre ordering either console... I guess im still hoping MS will wake up but I think its just my Nightmare and I need to wake up and transition back to a PS fan (I have owned a PS1, PS2, and PS3 but I really didnt like the PS3, Games were good just didnt like the console and UI or the controller in comparison)... I have been an xbox and xbox360 supporter but now I feel abandoned and dont know if I can support this always...
So by loan you mean what exactly... I cant just hand a copy of my game to a friend and expect him to be able to play it... That is what loaning is to me.
I think a majority of the people are very put off by this. They will buy an Xbox anyways but I wouldn't say they aren't put off.

The difference here is that PS4 claims they are not changing how console gamers have handled licensing.
Steam has had many years in digital distribution and has lots of "proof of concept" to back up the sales.
Xbone decided to try to transition from one to the other and has no proof of concept yet for a consoles ability. This creates a problem because MS cant prove the concept so software remains at I high price (which basically defeats the purpose)...
