Nothing here that hasn't been said before by the many other women/men who feel the need to pick video games as a target of sexism by saying these rules only apply when I feel discriminated against in spite of equality, reality, and artistic freedom.

Time to stop bringing your emotional baggage to every arguement. Please for the love of everything that is holy; if you say you're not a deep thinker stop trying to come up with deep articles they end up being as shallow a...

Your logic is messed up.

Steam machine brings nothing to the table.

Even if it supported by more devs that doesn't mean that another pc can't play it too.

Until it has exclusives than it brings zero to the table that another pc for the same price can't do? It's just another option and at this point in an option that offers less.

That's what I'm talking about. Unless you can tell me what they truly off ...

The problem is you don't need a steam machine to make a better OS. I mean if they fundamentally changed the whole OS and it got supported and took off you still don't need the steam machine.

I have Steam OS but no steam machine... I really want them to continue and make it better and I hope that the OS takes off but still don't need a steam machine for it.

Crawl before you run...

They bring less than pre built crappy pc from the shelf at bestbuy considering it runs a linux OS.

All I have to say is it would cost me far less to buy a 25-50 foot Hdmi cable and plug that into my tv with "big picture" then have to buy a steam machine and stream my non linux games from my already custom built pc.

I know not everyone has a high end pc but the steam machine offers far less than a mid range pc with the ability to play almost every g...

One word why this won't happen... LINUX!

Don't get me wrong I like my Linux machine but it's not an adopted gaming platform. It could be eventually and hopefully it will but it sure isn't as it stands.

I would say I have over 100 games in my library I have never looked at.

"Why...?"

Because there things called bundles. For instance if I can get a game that looked interesting but costs $10 by itself and all the sudden it's $5 and includes 5 other games well I'm buying it since I was curious about it anyways. And now I have 5 other games that I may or may not ever play.

This is why I have so many unfinished and not started g...

@Skizelli

I disagree with a few things but at the same time I see a few things I believe we are arguing the same point from two different views.

Thanks for the comments as this is my last bubble and I won't be able to respond so I won't rebutt any remarks.

"That has to be one of the dumbest comments I've read on N4G today."

Glad I could make your list of dumb comments.

I think you missed a step trying to call my argument illogical.

"Do you know how many movies I've seen with horribly bad trailers that actually turned out to be quite awesome, and vice versa?..."

No i don't know how many you have seen. However, I never said ...

@Concertoine

So your ASSUMING that the majority of people just think they decided 6v6 for no reason even though this article SAYS that they decided 6v6 for a reason. I assume the people have read the article. That still doesn't mean that they have to agree with the decision just because it was made for a reason. That's called having an opinion.

Your saying don't have an opinion until its out. I am saying that with games opinions need to be made be...

I know people are going to complain and disagree with me and I can already hear the arguments but...

Dota2 is 5v5 and has peon bots that have basic see and attack ai. And since only players can call in the Titans they are similar to the heros...

It's not a great example but the statement was to name one game.

Now I only make this statement since not enough information about these bots are known and if the bots aren't used in a basica...

"Don't judge a book by its cover."

I am so sick of this saying. All this information is to make a judgement. Judging it based on the name and picture is where that would apply but this information is like turning the cover over and seeing the plot and offerings... that's all meant to make a judgement.

When you watch a trailer for a movie or game or read information about it that is all meant so you can make a judgement of whether to buy it o...

So much for a healthy competition. One system would be the opposite of a good idea. Having the ability to compete spurs innovation.

This right here is why the idea of an all in one entertainment machine is full of BS. Please tell me how not having access from my all in one to my networked movie drive is even concievable. I mean what do they think a HTPC does?

I mean seriously I can't even put a video on a flash drive and play it while it's plugged in.

This was a huge leap backwards for me and I now feel less than impressed that it's not a priority because it wasn't widel...

If I had to point out the differences I would say...

Planet exploration, you are meant to travel the universe.

NPC diversity, 6 types of playable character species of which all have thier own type of villages that are fun to explore and some with more than one type of village or dungeon.

Which leads to dungeons, great looking not overly large dungeons that range from prisons, temples, and testing facilities that make you jump around like port...

Gee maybe there are 1000's of articles on the internet filled with the same basic information. Considering building a PC hasn't changed much in the last 15 years.

So unless this points out something "New" that I must have missed what relevance does this have that is any different than the 1000 other articles anyone can find.

Anyways I will agree to disagree on its relevance to this site as they really don't talk about the hardware but ju...

"...and that is the jest of it."

I think that is what they call a Freudian slip. I believe your looking for gist or jist (depending how proper in English you want to be), since to jest is to joke.

And to me they don't seem very focused on either gaming or features since the line up is abysmal and they broke or made harder more features than they added.

How did this get approved? It's not an article about games... It's a DIY.

I was one of the unlucky ones who got the beta during the same weekend XBOX1 was released. Needless to say I didn't play it as much as I would have liked but I did play long enough to form some opinions.

I won't share everything I think about it but if I could sum it all up in one sentance.

Like a square wheel trying to roll down a hill.

It will get there but it's far from perfect or even fun and there already more MMO games that ...

Like aBreeze has said usually things like this are tracked down through investigation which iis what some call doxing (slang).

This can be done simply especially recently thanks to social media. For instance if the twitch username is the same as maybe a Facebook username and pictures show the same person. You have your first match. Then through a bit of investigation it's not hard to find a parents name (if you assume they live at home). This can be used to do a deed se...
