That's not really a rewards or loyalty program though?
A lot of people are suggesting this and I'm not against it as long as it isn't mandatory but I do want something along the lines of Club Nintendo that offers rewards to those who continually support Nintendo.
I'm hoping for something along the lines of the DDP promotion where you get points based on purchases and can turn that into eShop Credit to be used for whatever you want.
It's simple.....companies can fix things after release so they don't hold up the release anymore for quality issues because they can patch it in a month and it will still sell when launched.
Want better made games....stop buying games as launch....stop buying games that are half finished. But we won't because we are gamers and addicted so it will continue.
Did you register them? That should be 780 coins alone. Granted its not a ton but it is 4 free games plus any yearly awards.....
Yeah.....at least offer the option of 2 Gold rewards if you don't want any, or you have all of the Platinum.
Hoping they offer up something special since it's the end of the program
in NA they are releasing a bunch of downloadable games to use your points as well as some physical rewards. The latest batch of 8 games are available until the June 30 deadline and there are more to come in February.
Basically you have to enter any codes before March I think and then figure out how to use your points before June 30th.
I'm hoping for some games I don't already have or my nephew is going to end up with some free games.
I'm thinking it will be more along the lines of the DDP program where you get points towards free eShop Credit
I prefer free games.....but then again I'm not much for collecting
The plot/dialogue really is an odd thing. I want enough to know what's going on but I prefer to be able to imagine some of the story myself. Like a book vs a movie. Both are great but I get lost in a book much more then a movie because the characters and settings become my own creations.
Prime is the only one announced so far that I plan on getting because I haven't played any of them. For $10 I'll pick it up and play it when I have time.
Looks like this is a step closer to having 1 eShop for all things Nintendo with versions of every Nintendo game available. I really think the eShop as it stands will move forward with each new console made from here on out
Are you hunting Mario?
Depends on the type of game you like. I'd suggest getting Mario Kart 8 Bayonetta 2, Super Mario 3D World, and Lego City Undercover. Again it all depends on what you like though. eShop wise Shovel Knight is amazing if you like old NES type platformers.
I know it is still a direct but it is hard for me to include the E3 presentation just because of the event and that it isn't the typical semi monthly direct.
My #1 moment was probably Iwata returning in the November direct. It was nice to see him back and on the way to recovery from his health issues.
Hoping we get some great Direct moments tomorrow!
Maybe a 10 year anniversary or something like that. I would like to see a lot of games remade from the PS1 N64 Saturn era because some of those have aged so poorly, but I'm not fond of the we just made this game.....lets remake it again a couple years later. I can even see some from GameCube Dream Cast, PS2, Xbox era given another shot. As for the 8 and 16 bit games. Those still look amazingly good on my big screen so I'm not really looking for them to be redone either.
I already have 1 and it is a fun machine with some great titles but my 4 reasons that I'm excited to have a Wii U in 2015 are:
1) Xenoblade Chronicles X (I know it may not make it)
2) Zelda
3) Splatoon
4) Star Fox
I'm hopefully FE vs SMT will make an announcement at some point as well but that seems to be either canceled or 2016
Mean while the PS3 Last of Us bundle is on sale for $264.99.......I'm shocked these aren't $199.99 or less by now.
Good deals for both PS4 & Wii U though.
I'd like a few surprises for 2015 and a show of strength for 2016. 2016 somehow needs to match 2015 in great titles for Wii U.
Unfortunately only Ubisoft matters and they ain't listening to us on this one.
Sad part is I even enjoyed some of the flaws. I thought the clunky movement added to the horror feel in a way and it never bothered me too much. I'd love to see a ZombiU 2 but I'm scared you'd start with an AK47, a mech suit, and unlimited ammo and it would be a ZombiU kill-a-thon......which could still be fun but not quite the same feeling
I'm not even sure what to think of this article.........
Nintendo milks their franchises too much but look how great COD is?
Wii would take ports of any game but why won't Nintendo put their games on other systems?
Nintendo shouldn't be family friendly because trying to change their image is what hurt Vegas.......
A) Nintendo isn't going anywhere because even as bad as Wii U and 3DS are selling compared to o...
They already have a huge nest egg of money and are coming off huge sales on their last handheld and home console. Just ride out this generation and do the best they can and come out swinging with the next. Wii U may never make it to 20 mill but in 10 years everyone will act like they had one and loved it......see gamecube
Yep, hopefully they do a great job with the Wii U version. I haven't played a Racing Sim in a while and I've been looking forward to Project C.A.R.S.
