I think fun is the key word. Addicting is another. It's hard to turn off....always want 1 more round.

Is Splatoon the game that finally catches on for the Wii U? That is an impressive 2nd week, even more so for the hardware. If next weeks numbers are similar then Nintendo might get past GameCube numbers.
I'm interested to see what NPD numbers are estimated at.
Not to pick on your opinion, but how is the input non-traditional? Because it doesn't have analog buttons? The controller isnt a gimmick, it isnt a bad controller....maybe uncomfortable depending on your hands but it is a solid controller that allows so many advantages over other controllers. If you don't like it that is fine, I hate PS controllers but they are still good controllers, just not comfortable to me, that doesnt make them bad nore is the touch screen on the PS4 a gimmic...
Nintendo is throwing out a lot of information I would have expected at E3......makes me wonder how many secrets they got going on right now. This maybe an epic digital event.
It will be an exclusive reveal to IGN which is how Devils 3rd was announced as a Wii U exclusive last year. Not that it means anything....just something to add to rampant speculation
Codename STEAM didn't chart in Japan and by most sccounts hasnt done well unfortunately as I'm enjoying it so far. Feels like maybe a game that should have been on Wii U. The pace is a little off for the handheld crowd I think.
It was funny, clearly a joke, and the ones who complained about it either didn't watch it or are delusional
It's a ton of fun and has just enough variety included so you dont get bored. The game feels a incomplete as it stands but the promised additional content is already being released. It's getting almost nonstop play in my house so far. If you are at all interested then I'd grab it
I think Nintendo planned this to keep the servers full. They were unsure of the sales potential and didn't want people to discard the game because of a lack of people playing so they decided to slowly roll out features to keep you coming back and playing and matches full if sales of Splatoon were W101 like.
In a month.....XBX just released in Japan at the end of April.

This game is great fun and a great example of what makes Nintendo such a great developer and publisher.......it is also incomplete and shouldn't have been released until August or September. I'm trying to give them a pass because the content is coming and I know the struggle for them to get enough games out with out the 3rd party support but it would be hypocritica...

This has to be a good sign.....meanwhile in the US.....lines around the block at stores for......Amiibos which are probably already listed on ebay. At least a couple of the Amiibo buyers also walked out with a Splatoon
Clearly babies dont have the hand eye coordination to play video games so what ever his reasons I'm sure they are scientifically incorrect. Except for genius half breed alien babies and they would play Splatoon for sure!
Sounds reasonable but I doubt a Nintendo Rep is out blabbing about E3 plans.
I wasn't really expecting anything more from this. Basically they are giving away 8 free trips to E3 plus paying another 8 celebrity gamers to show up as well. Probably should have made it 32 total...maybe 24 Best Buy champs but maybe next year time they will have a grander plan
I prefer the digital event to a stage show....more entertaining for the common fans. I'm guessing the Media would rather have the live show though.
Excited to see what games the NWC consists of. I really hope whatever it is, they put it on the eShop after with daily online leader boards for the rest of us to compete.
I think Nintemdo will announce a GC or N64 remake for Wii U coming in Oct and a surprise game for November/December like they did SMB3DW or Capt Toad. I think a November or December Direct will reveal another GC/N64 remake for February 2016.
I think E3 will give release dates or windows for Star Fox, Project Robot, Project Guard, Devils 3rd, Project CARS, XCX, Mario Maker, & maybe another 3rd party collaboration similar to a Hyrule Warriors

Find me a country that doesn't think they are better then every other country. I actually expect some teasing when I'm in foreign lands. If anything the guys are just jerks though and hopefully it catches up to them
