Santa is very worried..........the polar ice caps are melting and his workshop is in danger of flooding.
Too bad for the people losing their jobs. Better to trim 18,000 now and keep a strong business then try and keep everything and go bankrupt but that isn't much consolation for the 18,000 who will be unemployed in the next 12 months. Good luck to them.
You're sooooooooo right.....there is no such thing as a decorative plate with flat edges......this game must be crap! How dare they not make the plate a perfect circle.
Now, please excuse me, I must break all my mother's serving dishes because they aren't circles.
Armillo is a great game, especially at $5.99 although the slow down in parts is annoying. I hear a patch is coming though?
Haven't played Shovel Knight yet but I'm guessing I'll pick it up in a few months.
I have no interest in the physical items so to me it doesn't matter and I'm sure the kids will have fun with Game & Wario. I would like to see a larger selection of games though or at the very least offer a $4/$8 voucher to the eShop in case someone already has all the games.
PS2 sold 155 million because it was a good cheap dvd player that played games at a time when a stand alone dvd player was more expensive. The PS3 sales were helped by the BluRay player for the same reasons. It helps that both were great gaming machines as well but there were a ton of people who bought one with out any concern for playing games on it.
"Casual Gamers" are how they all make their money and it is who they will chase after because their interest is maki...
I am not pleased as I was gonna try and skip Bayo 2 in hopes of saving some money (and it's not really a title i can play in front of the children) but with the addition of 1.....now I feel like I must buy it cause it comes with a free game
Don't really want subscription based service but better account system and cross-buy would be a nice feature. I'm just hoping we get a ton of new options in the VC service. More consoles and games. Lets get the 3DS and Wii U eshop up to par with the Wii Shop.
Xenoblade on Wii was amazing IMO and something I'm still playing so if you didn't have a Wii Is recommend a Wii U and Mono X but I'm sure there are advantages to XB1 too. Myself....I'm loving my Wii U this far.
My Wii U has 2TB of space available, but I get your point. Thing is you can pick up a decent hard drive pretty cheap so anyone who wants more capacity can have it.
This is good news. I've been purchasing a lot of digital games with my Wii U but this is one I want on disk. Much easier to keep it away from the 5 year old that way
Think I'm the only 1......but I love the N64 controller. Never liked any of the Sony cause my mind can't comprehend the symbol buttons as opposed to letters. The 1st Xbox controller I didn't like but since then they are good. The 1 button Atari Joystick is so classic, it was always breaking and we had a spare parts bucket to try and keep them working.
I really think the Wii U will have a good 2nd half of 2014 in Japan. Hyrule Warriors in August starts what should be a good run of games (Bayonetta, Toad, SSB) in Japan for the system by the holiday season and depending on when X releases, which is currently schedule for 2014 in Japan, we may see a lot of units moved before we get to January.
I'm interested to see if XB1 can make a dent in the Japan market come September. Will be interesting to see what they can do aft...
That was amazing......I need to go buy a 360 right now!
I already have a Wii U. I'd probably go with PS4 because of the style of games available but most of the people I know will probably get an XB1 in a year or 2 so for multiplayer online possibilities XB1 would be a better choice. But I have 2 young kids so I really don't have time anyway so for now I will wait and see what E3 2015 brings and have fun with the Wii U.
Clearly Nintendo is not in a crisis. They have the money and the history to overcome what has been a few bad years profit wise.
Those who relish in this "failure" dislike Nintendo because that's what's cool at the moment.
The rest of us either like Nintendo for what they are, have criticisms based on what we wish they would add to their repertoire, or have no interest in Nintendo and could not care less about what they do.
Unless he means the overall gap. Wii U has sold more in Japan then PS4 so every week it out sells PS4 that gap widens. Of course none of it matters anyway as long as the companies do well and we get more and better games.
That is a well thought out point and something I hadn't considered before. Well done GenericNameHere
You also get $10 worth of credit through the digital deluxe program meaning you can download something off of eShop for free or close to it
It will be interesting to see where the July and August numbers fall to. Nothing really releasing until September for Wii U. If it can keep up some momentum going into September then the rest of the year could be big.
I think there are 17 retail exclusive releases between now and end of 2015 if you count Zelda U and Star Fox U. If Nintendo can keep up that type of production then the console sales will be healthy.
