For a week or two. Devs know it can't stop pirates forever but it might force potential pirates to buy the game instead, for a week or two
Max profits would be to release the $70 must have game on console for a period of time and then when that well has run dry, tap the PC market. Like Sony is doing right now.
Helldiver's 2, while a good game, is not a $70 ($40) must have game and Sony probably thought it was going to bomb which it did, on console.
If you mean this game, then yes. However most, if not all, of the Shin Megami Tensei games were released on the PS in the past. Technically the series went multiplat when they released on the Switch
Some people stayed away from trailers for a reason. Not me, but there are some out there.
Or just go with Super Switch. Just don't name it Switch U
Well, as long as they aren't taking a loss on those consoles. If they are then that 25 million tells a different story
If you watch YouTube videos the sail boats look like speed boats and the cannons fire like gatling guns. Nothing realistic
Use a browser with an ad blocker built in. Brave, Edge, Firefox, etc.
I for one wish that they would stay in the console business. That way they won't be able to ruin other publishers/studios by buying them. As it is, if they try to buy another publisher they will be hit with a antitrust complaint and will lose.
After the ABK purchase the writing was on the wall. MS is going third party and getting out of the console business
This person did review it on the Xbox Series X and more than likely got it for free on gamepass. So it can cost money or it can be free
Note: I understand that gamepass costs money but just using the language that other Xbox users use.
"@MrDead: The only thing that's not healthy is hating a company that makes games as much as you do"
So, zero games then?
Then Switch 2, Electric Boogaloo
Pretty easy to explain. A bunch of Pokemon diehards don't like competition for "their" game. Now they are on a smear campaign to discredit the devs
I thought the same as you until I saw the Marvel Cable skin. He is like 3 times the size of normal fortnite characters. Based on that skin they could have made a normal Peter skin.
@mrcatastropheAF
Well, these are supposed to be "journalists" that have done their research and due diligence. When we can't trust them then who can we trust?
Based on his tone the author is not recommending but directing or demanding. A recommendation word is like "should" not "need" or " stop"
"Unless I'm missing something, but what gives epic the right to host their game wherever they want and dictate the cut that storefronts charge for this service? "
It has been rumored that Netflix and Amazon did this exact same thing, lower the cut of the product that they sell on the app stores. Epic probably thought they were big enough to do the same
"Without these storefronts they wouldn't make any money."
I guess they are about to pull a Windows Phone 2.0
I blame the lack of utilizing the hardware on the live service push as well as devs being lazy due to backwards compatibility.
