I don't know where these people are coming up with these ideas. History has shown that skipping e-3 doesnt hurt Sony. It only hurts these bloggers who are trying to write about what Sony is doing
I bought the PS3 at launch for Resistance fall of man and the other PS3 only games. Hypothetically, if Sony gimped the PS3 games so they could work on the PS2 then I wouldn't have bought the PS3 at launch. Console exclusive games sell launch consoles, period.

I have a PS4 and a Switch. The only reason I have a Switch is because I have kids. We use the Switch for party games and the PS4 for everything else.

Did anyone not pay attention when Sony stated that a lot of the game disc install is for the same assets on multiple parts of the current hdd in order to speed up loading. With ssd's the install for games should go down.
