In the beginning Sony said MS would take away COD and MS said they wouldn't. MS fanboys stated that there is no way MS would remove COD and miss out on a ton of revenue. Now, with this recent stance, MS has shown that Sony was right and the fanboys were wrong. Not a good look for MS, they have shot themselves in the foot. However, kudos for finally being honest about their intentions

Did you do any research about the Bungie purchase? Bungie is underneath Playstation however they were given independence. Meaning they can decide what platforms they want to support and Sony will not get involved. From the article below:
