What is with all these fanboys hoping dx12 is going to fail and bring no benefit to xbox? it is the direct x box after all. Its kind of a given that it will see improvements.

Phil spencer said the first wave of dx12 games will be coming fall 2015. So im assuming halo 5 and forza 6 will be using it.
I would say next year games using dx12 will be the norm.

Meaning the box has always been capable, but it has been hard for devs to utilize it. DX12 offers many improvements that will make a BIG difference, but...

DX12 is not even finished yet, I would bet CDPR haven't even played around with dx12 yet so what he was saying was his OPINION not a fact.
Also, for games to really take full advantage of dx12 they need to be built from the ground up.

I know right! the suspense is killing me. Just ONE screenshot would make me so happy. Given all the dev features touted for dx12 and how Turn10 always has MS full support to get the best out of xbox hardware im expecting a big step up from Forza 5.
Dynamic lighting, better particle effects, Weather, day and night, tire smoke ect..
Like the difference between Forza 2 and 3 back on 360 it will be very noticeable.
You are probably right, although i wonder if they are using dx12 for this game or not. With the recent confirmation of the Frostbite engine supporting dx12 they may end up hitting 1080p on both platforms.
I am looking forward to Forza Motorsport 6 more than anything else :)

Well considering the reveal trailer didn't appear on the official playstation youtube channel until exactly 24 hours after xbox uploaded it i doubt sony have the deal on cod.
The room full of ps4 consoles at treyarch was just one room. There was another room full of xbox ones but like usual that doesn't get spotlight due to people being biased towards playstation.

Nobody is saying it should be forced for every game ffs the article is referring to AC and COD.
Most games you could be a female or male lead without impacting the story at all.
I hardly see the problem with offering the 'choice' but obviously that logic can't be said for every single game like you said.
Well in my experience playing games with my wife, she has said numerous times she would like to play as a female character and more often than not the option is not available. Giving players the option is a welcome addition, although to be fair the last couple of cods have already done this outside the campaign.
