Anyone who thinks xbox ones ui is terrible either doesn't know how to use it, or hasn't used it.
All your games/custom pins to the left organised how you want.
Big tv box in the middle showing what game you are playing or have played, along with games/apps folder and recently used apps/games.
Friends/leaderboards/whats on/and store to the right.

It doesn't work like that. As a PC gamer i can tell you keeping all graphical settings at the same level and simply upping the resolution slightly isn't as taxing as people on here would think. 1920x1080 to 4k is one thing, but a small bump from 1600x900 to 1920x1080 isn't exactly a huge leap.
With devs having issues getting native 1080 on some titles with xbo is all down to bandwidth management and various other development hurdles...
Xbox one struggles on older engines. It was made for dx12 and needs engines that support its unique hw features to get the best out of it. Ps4 is simple unified architecture, easy to get power from and gnm is extremely efficient. Now xbox one is crippled by running dx11 or 9 and current engines don't fully support its hardware, and its still producing results right up there with ps4. That says a lot. Xb1 needs dx12 and better updated engines to really shine. Its next gen tech which is why...

I really don't understand the people hating on it. Such a great system and MS support the crap out of it they even have an entire site dedicated to ideas on how to make the system better and they actually listen and update it on a monthly basis.

Reveals are sometimes more tech demos of what they can achieve in engine i think. Then over time as game development progresses they work on coding things and fitting it to the hardware. End result is real. Where as like i said the first showing is more tech demo than anything.
So not so much a downgrade, but doing their best to achieve as close to the initial tech demo as they can.

Its not as bad as that sounds. Its around 3 years between each major Halo release.
We are only 4 main title games in. 343 confirmed halo 4 was the start of a new trilogy story so we still have Halo 5 and 6 to come.
I don't count Halo 3: odst as a main release its just a stand alone expansion for halo 3
Halo Reach was a prequel, although one of if not my fav halo game so far.

That's not true buddy. Its ok to prefer ps4 but multiplats do not always run better on ps4. A lot of multiplats actually have more stable frame rates on xbox one and sometimes better LOD and AF. Just because sometimes ps4 has a slightly higher res does not always mean its better ;)
Xbox one has features ps4 does not. Like snap for instance. I can watch tv or use an app or something at the same time as playing a game. You cant do this on ps4. Xbo...
Gears is not even close to being worn out. Its only had 3 main games and is sorely missed and due a return.
There is not a singe gears game on xbox one like wtf lemonade why the hate. Oh probly cuz its a MS IP right?
Same goes for Halo. The last entry in Halo was back on 360 so i hardly see how its worn out.
I'm assuming you have both? I'm getting it on xbox one because overall i like the system UI and features xbox has more than playstations. I'm also looking forward to seeing the kind of art this game has with its achievements.
CDPR have said the game is identical on ps4 and xbox one, except for resolution.
So if the frame rate is stable on both then ps4 is the better version from a 'technical' standpoint.
