Nintendo returning to their glory days i hope. Can u imagine a new nintendo console with a normal controller, a big hard drive, is more powerful than ps4 and xb1, gets all multiplats, full online gaming, voice chat, parties ect.. Would be a good day for nintendo if they went back to being a normal console first, special unique controllers secondary.
Android as an OS base could be really smart. Would make it easy to get apps and games on the console.

When im looking at something to buy, i consider what features it has, Quality of the product, Warranty and product support, Price point if its worth it or if i should shop around or wait, games on the system, user interface, online network. Things like that.

Why do you even care about sales i don't get it. They are both selling well there is no doom and gloom for xbox because its selling less, they are still profitable.
Honestly I prefer xbox myself but if xbox was outselling ps4 i wouldn't hold that as a reason to buy one console over the other.

Phil saying unlocking more for devs. I would say async shaders being enabled falls under that catagory.
A modest increase would be correct. What is your defenition of modest? Could be anywhere from 5 to 20 percent or more.
Async shaders alone is a big deal. And phil needs to keep expectations in check. If he said a big change peoples expectations would run wild.

There is a big difference between MisterXMedia nonsense and directX 12 gains.
However big or small the gains in efficiency overall are, there are 2 things nobody can deny.
1, DX12 enables the use of Async Shaders. This WILL improve performance capabilities for xbox one games in future.
2, Improved eSRAM efficiency with new dx12 API
These two things alone will net improved performance for xbox one.
Depends on what your definition of modest is cuz i would say 10-30 percent gains is modest. Slightly higher for cpu intensive games so 30-40 for SMS is believable.
Big or massive gains would be 50 or more percent gains and if you think about it, 10 to 30 percent gains on the current hardware isn't going to produce a dramatic difference from what the box is already capable of.
Itl just do what its already good at just a little bit better which will equate ...

What? Your view is warped man. MS are focusing big time on console exclusives and are touting the best e3 year in history for xbox. From the games already announced i find it easy to believe this to be the case.

Titanfall has been on sale so many times and the lowish player count i expect it to go free for gold one month soon. Build the online player count back up and make it relevant again in time for the titanfall 2 reveal.

What do you as gamers gain from this being only on ps4? It's on ps3, 360, Wii U and PC already.
How are you losing out if its on another platform as well as ps4? Its already a multiplat game it makes no difference to your gaming experience at all.
Seems to me the only ones missing out here apart from xbox gamers are the devs on lost revenue they would get from xb1 sales.

Aye man don't say that. 343 didn't even make the collection they just managed it. They have been working on Halo 5 while other studios tackled the individual remasters.
A collection like this with integrated multiplayer between different gen games, on a brand new network no less where they still working out the kinks is a pretty big accomplishment.

It will be available to all from the same date i think, but if you got MCC after December 14 last year then you have to pay for it. Which kind of stinks because the matchmaking issues only really got resolved earlier this year.
I got it December 23rd and had real trouble getting a game online. I feel like i should get it for free too but oh well..

Yeah the sp on res 3 was so good. It was my favourite of the 3 for sure.

Doubt it. This year we getting same models ps4/xb1 but with 1tb hard drives.
Next year would be the earliest one of these consoles would get a slim i think.
