Full DX12 is coming to xbox one later this year. This is fact confirmed by Phil Spencer.
The witcher 3 is getting a dx12 update later this year as well as a few others confirmed including batman and project cars, of which SMS said dx12 will be great for their game and xbox.
Even if it only gets a 5fps increase with dx12 its still closer to 60 than it is at the moment.

There isn't much info regarding dx12 on xbox one. The gains PC gets obviously is much more but still a 10-15fps increase could be possible. Who are you to say otherwise you may just be surprised. Im not saying its going to be that big but i look forward to seeing the improvements none the less and it will be closer to 60 than it is at the moment. how ever many frames that is we will see.
Xbox one version looks way better than that im not sure why the water looks so dull in that comparison.. anyway pretty amazing game especially considering its dx11.

I love how when people bring ddr3 vs gddr5 as an argument they fail to mention that xbox one also has eSRAM
Of course having ONLY ddr3 compared to gddr5 isn't as good for gaming, but throw eSRAM into the mix and its a different story. Its not easy to use which is why there has been varying results in resolution.

People need to stop underestimating xbox one hardware and the importance of software! dx12 is a big deal and its unfair to say ps4 is more powerful when its had an advantage over xbox one this whole time with its gnm api.
PS4 already has dx12 equivilant with GNM and yet xb1 is right there along side it all while being held back by dx11.
You should be scared coming in here running to sonys defence. MS is bringing the hammer with dx12 ...
I think what u meant before about dual lanes is that the x1 gpu is split into two sets of CU with 2 individual gfx command processors. Thats what brad wardell meant when he referred to xb1 having dual lanes and how ps4 and pc dont.

Titanfall used the cloud for dedicated servers. It has an amazing online system that works great. The cloud is real and just because MS haven't shown us its potential yet doesn't make it a fantasy. And you know ddr3 + eSRAM costs more than gddr5 right? it wasn't the cheap option.
Personally it makes a lot of sense having dedicated memory only the gpu can use. It doesn't hamper the main ram pool. 192gbps eSRAM is a big deal. P...
So what? Most pc have ddr3 and they destroy the ps4. Why u guys always forget xbox also has esram?? Its faster than gddr5 and is exclusive gpu memory. Ddr3 is better at handling smaller files quicker and that seems smart to me (tiled resources). Xbo may lack in numbers on paper thats easy for everyone to understand but its efficient design in how it can spread its load means it gets more done than alot of you think. Its all dependent on the game. 30fps is generally the sweet spot on consoles for a game like this. It always has been. There are plenty of full 1080p locked 60fps games coming. The generation is fine and the games look great. Stop being a downer
Who cares if xbox games are on pc. They are still console exclusive and for console gamers the only place for them is xbox.
Not everyone wants to game on PC its in a completely different space to consoles.

Yes so its native 1080p and has the ability to scale back a few pixels in intense/demanding situations. Not native 900 with the ability to scale up sometimes.
