No, Most of the time xbox one updates have some new feature or aspect to them. Just look how far the system and dashboard have come since launch.
All the updates that are merely fixes are for the preview program. That's why there are so many of them and why they have a preview program in the first place. So they can release a stable update to the masses.

PlayStation partnership is skin deep. Sony owns nothing to do with cod, they simply paid all that money for the right to market the game and get a 1 month head start on dlc. Xbox still gets everything cod. just have to wait 4 weeks for dlc. Big woop. Not the end of the world.

Man i thought for sure Forza 6 was using dx12. It looks so great and having so many extra cars on track along with night racing, weather, better physics and lighting, destructible tyre walls, deforming mud and 3D puddles ect... and they doing it all on dx11.

Arkham knight isn't using dx12. There's supposed to be a dx12 patch for it and the witcher 3 later this year. Windows 10 is required for dx12 and its not on Xbox one yet.
