All I can say is that the more English speaking members on Live the better. Nothing personal against people who speak another language. I just can't play as effectively when I don't understand what someone is telling me. People wonder why hardly no one talks on PSN. I imagine it's because most of the people don't speak english.

I'm just curious who sponsored such an obvious marketing event disguised as an awards ceremony. Nice try Sony, you already disguised your blu-ray player as a game console, a fake awards ceremony seems miniscule compared to that.
I would say that it would be safe to assume that th 360 will hit 15 mil by the end of the year. It already has the ps3 outsold 2-1 in hardware and software attach ratio.

I admit that I get frustrated at games sometimes. I even have to mute my mic and scream curses and birdies at the tv occasionally. I thought about breaking my COD4 disc while trying to get through "Ultimatum" on Veteran just yesterday. Bottom line is though, it's just a game. Getting frustrated and getting frustrated and throwing you life away are two different things.

It seems delusions of grandieur is a common trait for people like you. The ps3 has already lost this generation. Ps3 would have to outsell the 360 by almost 600,000 consoles a month for a year just to catch the 360. Let's just say the ps3 starts outselling the 360 by 200,000 a month worldwide. It would be 4 years before the ps3 even caught up. Just in time for this gen to be over.

I just wonder which direction sony was trying to take with the 40gb lack of BC. Will most gamers look at it as a reason to upgrade to ps3, or a reason not to. I know price is one of the biggest factors, but to say that the ps2 isn't eating into ps3 sales would cetainly be wrong. The 360 never dropped below 90,000 in the U.S., also you couldn't walk into a store and expect to find a 360 until 4 monthes after it launched. The ps3 isn't a popular console in the U.S., maybe sony calling Americans "cheap" had something to do with that.
It's a strange thing, but everywhere English is the national language, 360 outsells the ps3. My theory is that a games dialog and voice acting go over alot better when the developers speak the same language as the consumer.

To each his own. If you simply enjoy the competition online multiplyer brings then that's cool. The way that you play can easily be done on 360 aswell. But you should experience a very social fps where everyone is working like a well oiled machine. One of my old favorites is Battlefield 2.
