I'm a 360 fan and I'm glad MS is countering sony's holiday marketing blitz. Although, I'm not sure if I'll be able to survive another month of intense marketing. I saw sony's subliminal attack commercials so many times, that I had stop myself from stabbing my eyes out everytime they come on. Hopefully, MS commercials will be more tolerable than sony's "annoying loudmouth that won't stfu" approach.
The 360 is a $100 price cut ,for all sku's, from going mainstream. In the U.S., the prices would be $179-Arcade, $249-Premium, and $379-Elite. With the 360's current library along with what's coming in 2008, ANY GAMER would be hard pressed not to pick up a 360. Combine that with the current popularity of the 360 in N.A. and you will see the 360 go mainstream this year. Since when has te 360 been in a decline in N.A.? It hasn't. I don't know what continent you guys are on, but in N.A. the 360 is well liked. 2008 will be the year that the 360 hits the mainstream market in N.A., count on it.

Fanboyism is nothing new, and there are fanboys for alot of different companies and products besides consoles. This isn't overly abnormal behavior. I had a 360 and ps3 both for around 6 monthes. The ps3 doesn't in any way shape or form live up to the pre-launch hype or promises sony made. The 360 is twice the gaming machine the ps3 is. If your playing a ps3 and your happy about it, then good for you. But don't patronize us and claim you own a 360. And as to the status of my ps3, I sold it about a month ago and bought my son a 360 with the money.
It looks like GT5 was enough to move enough ps3's to outsell the 360 by 25,000 units (according to vgchartz anyway) for december. Just think, another 279 monthes like this and the ps3 will have caught the 360.
25,000 x 4 monthes= 100,000
10 x 100,000= 1 million units
4 x 10= 40 monthes
40 x 7(360's lead in millons)= 280 monthes

The 360 is doing a really good job in the RPG genre. There has been atleast one truly epic RPG every year since its launch, along with several other pretty decent RPG's.
Hopefully, Monolith will add a little more depth to the investigative machanic in Condemned 2. Condemned 1 was a great game, hopefully Condemned 2 will expand a little to the formula.
