I'll bet your an american sony fanboy though aren't you? Why not pack your stuff and move to Japan where you belong? This country certainly doesn't need you.
Imo, Japan can kiss my American a*s. If your an American sony fanboy, don't ever admit it in public.
Lol, keep going to school braintrust. Reporting false numbers to investors would be a form of stock fraud. Not only is what your implying bullshot, it's common knowlegde to any business owner that your full of sh*t. Nice going...what are you 14?
You mean outshipped, it certainly didn't have more sales to consumers. If you think the ps3 had more consumer sales, then I've got some magic beans you might be interested in. Sony flooded the retail channel this year, just like MS did last year. And I'm sure there will be a news story on the subject sometime soon.
Ps3 might have shipped more units in 2007, but it certainly didn't have more consoles sold to consumers than 360. Sony flooded the retail channel, it's as simple as that.
Anyone that thinks the ps3 will be as dominating as the ps2 was is silly. The ps3 simply isn't the best choice for a game console. It wouldn't be selling now if no one knew the word playstation.

Nah, sony and MS both use sold to retailer numbers. VGC reported on this a few weeks ago.
Your not the only one having a hard time believing this. Sony had 3 straight monthes in which they sold less than 100k in N.A., and was brutally outsold by 360 every month this year in the largest gaming region in the world.
The only way that I can see this happening, is if sony flooded the retail sector with over-stock. MS done it in '06, and that's what sony has very likely done this year. What did sony say a few monthes ago, that they projected 15 mil ps3's to be sold by March. An...
Who bought all of these ps3's? It wasn't N.A., ps3 has done poorly in that region. I think that sony over flooded the retail channels just like MS did in '06. Just like MS in '06, sony's '07 projections were severly over inflated.
If sony can continue on this pace it will catch the 360 by the spring of 2014.
I quit reading your post when you called the 360 a trojan horse. MS can't report defects as sales, it would be illegal. Lying to investors in such a gross manner would bag some prison time for fraud. So your conspiracy theory is bunked.
If you want to talk about trojan horses, let's talk sony. There isn't a ps3 owner out there who doesn't also have an overpriced sony in-house movie player, that they paid extra for when they bought a ps3. Why? To boost sales in sony's hdtv, motion pictu...
I have never taken VGC to be gospel. The reason being VGC (like other number trackers) use past sales trend data compounded with retail sales data to get their numbers. About a month ago, VGC openly said they only receive 1% of the retail sectors data (NPD has 60%). The point being, there is no sales trend data for alot of the world + 1% retail data = a wild guess, at best.
Until VGchartz can reveal how they get numbers for the whole world (especially europe), I'll continue to take their numbers with a grain of salt.
Why doesn't someone just make a traditional bowling game? Jeez...is that too much to ask?
Big whoop. I received a brand new console, when my launch 360 ringed out this past August. It doesn't take a call to Bill Gates to get your freakin 360 replaced.
Although I do think that this lady is an opportunist, she did admit that she was completely wrong. I can put the issue with her to rest. Because, I don't think she will be so quick to speak on things she knows nothing about. The whole Fox News story seeded from a piece that columnist Kevin McCullough wrote on the conservative website Townhall. If anyone should be taken to task, it's Fox News.
I predict that within the first three monthes of Home, it will be branded a pedophiles playground. There will perverts inviting young kids & teens to their virtual apartment to watch real porn on their virtual big screen Bravias. I know my kid will not be messing with Home.
