I hate to admit it, but I'll probably start horse laughing when the ps3 version of GTA runs like garbage. You know, like the other 90% of multiplats the ps3 struggles with.
Regardless of what mikeskool-aid and his bretheren like to think. The truth is that the 360 version is superior. More content is undeniable proof, and to say otherwise is childish. And if someone really wanted to get picky, why not call sony out on the ps3's non-gaming centric hardware for all of the GTA delays, and shoddy multi-plats.

You really shouldn't listen to the false propaganda fanboy groups such as Sony Protection Group and Sony Defence Force try to influence people with on various forums and especially this sony fanboy infested website. COD4 doesn't look better on ps3, and for that matter neither does Burnout. Both of those rumors were started by sony fanboys, one of those being Shane Bettenhausen (Sony's 1# media lap dog). Anything pertaining to sony, you have to be careful not to step into the bullshot.

Where you got "everyone", I'll never know. The 360 has been hammering the ps3 in hardware performance for over a year. The ps3 might be a good blu-ray player, but it's been proven that when it comes to gaming, the ps3 is lacking.
The last thing that 360 owners need is for it's games to be ported from the ps3. The ps3 is weaker for gaming applications. It's been proven time and again in multi-plats that the ps3 struggles to match the 360's performance. Is it really any suprise that the 360 has no trouble running ps3 ports? 360 is a better game console, with hardware geared towards gaming.
The ps3 is a blu-ray player, with hardware geared towards movies. Seriously, ask yourself. Sony said that the extra disc ...
I understand what you are trying to say. But honestly, I don't know anyone with both 360 & Ps3, that plays or buys more games on ps3. The 360 versions of 90% of multi-plats are either the same or slightly better than the ps3's. Then you have XBL, it's the only truly next-gen online gaming network. Not mention the 360 has over 200 more titles in it's library. I can see why the 360 gets more playtime, it's a better gaming platform.
Last-gen Xbox & Gamecube owners had to suffer sometimes because the Ps2 was the lead platform. Atleast we don't have to worry about EA gimping 360 games just because sony used a non-gaming centric CPU (Cell). As a 360 owner, I certainly don't want my games ported from the slightly inferior ps3. Who knows if a dev will be lazy and not utilize the 360's power.
With the contrast of sold v/s shipped, it's pretty obvious sony has flooded it's retail channels with ps3's. I expect 2008 ps3 shipped numbers will be alot less when compared to 2007 numbers.
The ps3 isn't as popular as the 360 in N.A. I don't think the ps3 can pull it off without N.A. And you really can't blame anyone for avoiding sony all together. After forcing their in-house movie format onto people, lying about the power of the ps3, openly calling their gamer fans "idiots", gauging prices in Europe, and just being pompous a-holes.
What are we supposed to feel sorry for sony or something? Who cares if sony was late to the race, 360 has the goods now. I'm certainly not waiting, because there is no reason to.
"Home" is more than just some webpage on the internet. I cringe at the thought of my kid getting invited to some perverted anime freaks porn laden "Home"
When MS released their numbers last year, there were rumors that they flooded the retail channel to hit 10 mil. I believe alot of 360 sales in the first quater of last year were overstock from 2006.
Now this brings us to the obvious. There is no way in hell there were more ps3's sold to consumers in 2007. The ps3 was outsold every month of 2007, in N.A. And not by 7-8k, but by between 80k all the way to 600k in Dec.
Now this brings us to sony. I personally got a fee...
This is even more proof that blu-ray was not put in the ps3 because of gaming. They tell everyone that the extra disc space is needed for gaming. Then they put a BD drive in the ps3 that is too slow to run a game, without having to be installed to the ps3's HDD.
So you think that people should trust complete strangers, to invite their kids over to their customizable virtual apartment? That's not the type of control I am willing to give an internet stranger with my kid.
I guess everything you people said about me, can also be applied to the majority of the people in Japan. It's called nationalism kids, not racism. Supporting your country, in other words.
Ps3 just isn't for me. It's hardware is lacking when it comes to gaming, atleast when compared to 360. I'll be getting the complete version for 360.

Inferior? To what? According to Metacritic, 360 is the best game machine on the console market.
More diversity, quality, and quantity are all things the 360 has over the ps3.

Agreed. I have never been much of an Unreal fan, but I really enjoyed Gears.
