When I think of pop songs, I think of JPOP or KPOP or whatever. Something extremely upbeat and cheery. If you were talking about another definition of a "pop song", then okay. We have different definitions of what pop songs are.

Do you even know what a pop sing is? Eyes on Me and the song Garnet sang definitely weren't pop songs. You're thinking of FFX-2, brah. And that didn't come out until 4 years later after FFVIII.
The "new" PC version is the same old PC version just with achievements. If you want to play it on your PS3, just download the PS1 version.

There's a full version for both disc and digital. I don't know if they've told us what will be in the full versions, but they did say the free PS+ version will still be meaty. Filled with enough content that you'll be able to get the Platinum Trophy without buying it.
