No uhd is no problem for many. The REAL head scratcher is beefing up the gpu 3x and just slightly overclocking cpu which gives us prettier games for sure, but Im concerned about the framerate.

4k will be "obsoleted" by 8k in 2-5 years lol. Yeah because we are so saturated right now with 4k content and all that 8k content is being prepped and readied for production and release. Come on guy. Quit spouting off about crap you know nothing about.

4k tvs already do the upscaling so the box upscaling is pointless for the S because native res will be 1080p max. Now the extra power or Pro and scorpio will allow higher native resolutions which will look much better upscaled than anything the S upscales or gets upscaled.
They also couldnt care less about their hardcore fans who made them great.
Every tv worth a s these days has streaming services with every damn movie out there. Sure it might be slightly compressed but it still looks fantastic on my curved 4k. I am way more excited about the $399 price tag than let down by no uhdbr.

I sit about 10 ft from my 55 inch and i can definitely tell the difference between 1080 and 4k. And my tv auto upscales everything so i can even tell the difference from 1080 upscaled to 4k and native 4k. I do have 20/15 vision which might make a difference though.

On my 4k tv which has a very good upscaling processor, the upscaling from 1080 to 4k is very good. Its much less noticeable than upscaling fromm 900-1080.
4k premium is just a certification that the tv meets certain specs and standards. Its not something new or different. All 4k tvs are 4k. All 4k tvs do not have to meet "4k premium" standards. 4k is a resolution dummy, it does not change because of some arbitrary certification by some organization lol.

I have the directv 4k package plus netflix and amazon prime streamed straight to tv. So I do get a lot of 4k content. And to be honest 4k upscaled beats the crap out of native 1080p.
My 4k tv is not 4k? Ok buddy...ooooohhhhhkayyyy.

Its exclusives are beloved. It was the 2nd half of a golden era for nintendo ips. Prime, WW, SMSS...three of the greatest games for their respective franchises. Also it was the last gen where they catered to real gamers with real games not dumbed down for "everyone". With th wii, they lost their way...and so far the NX does not look like they are finding their way back.
