You are correct, he did say that...along with a 1000 word essay describing Nintendo "haters" lol

Wow, the obsessive need to defend Nintendo runs strong through you! I along with many other could give a rats ass about Ubi. I mean if a port of Far Cry Primal is your NX 3rd party dream then the bar has been set extremely low.

Really? From what Ive seen it did not look good at all.

Makes sense. I always thought that 1080 pixels would just be a 1080 "sized" pixel respective on the 4k screen. That it would "downscale" it so that each 1080 pixel actually took up 4 pixels on the 4k screen. Guess I learn something new every day. Upscaled 1080 on a 4k screen, whichever way it does it still looks better than 1080p looked on any 1080p screen Ive seen.

Although I am reading that the ratio of resulutions being scaled makes a difference ...

Seriously the ONLY reason I was thinking about buying this is that I wouldnt mind going through Rapture again with a real visual upgrade. Once I saw the game in action, it was very noticeable that there was only a very minor upgrade. So...no buy.

I finally switched to PC after I got fed up with all of the viruses infecting my consoles 😢

From what I understand there is no difference. This is why the upscaling from the box, like in the OneS is pointless because it can only be upscaled from a 1080p or less image. Same on the Pro games that are upscaled from 1080p. The diffetence with the pro, from my understanding is that it will be rendering from higher resolutions (1800p?) which should result in a higher image quality, basically less blanks to fill in.

Im sorry, but 1080p upscaled to 4k looks FAR better than 1080p not upscaled. There is a very noticeable difference. I think a lot of this "subjectivity" has to do with ones quality of eyesight. I hear a lot of people saying they cant tell the difference in things where many including myself can. I have 20/15 vision, maybe those that see differences in such things are like me and those who cant have worse vision?

To me FH2 screamed of euro-hipster millennial. NFS 2016 was more american douche millennial. Although far from a millennial...I gues I identify with douches more than hipsters as I could stomach NFS, but wanted to hurambe my eardrums out whenever the FH2 guy called me "mate".

Liked, did not love FH2. Preferred NFS 2016. To each their own.

The average gamer is 35 years old. Like Ive said, the kiddies and grandmas have moved on to mobile for the most part. I guess the definition of "casual" has become blurred these days. Far Cry is a casual game now??? Lol. Nintendo NEEDS 3rd party support no doubt...but not for the casual shovelware crap like you think, but the vast library of 3rd party games casual AND hardcore. Next your going to tell me GTA is casual right??? Because its the biggest selling game...right???

I actually really liked NFS 2016. I enjoyed the driving much more, which I know is subjective. I also enjoyed the customization way more than in FH2. For me it had a fun factor that FH2 lacked.

Just got "The Ordered". I liked FH2, but to be honest the announcer was gorrible and the game lacked soul. Id give FH3 a go if I didnt plan on putting my bone towards psvr. I had more fun with the last NFS.

Your mother is an exception. 85 million current gen systems have been bought. Even if each system was unique to one owner that would make up less than 1/3 of the population of the united states. And lets face it there are a LOT of multi console owners, so the number of system owners is probably closer to 50-70 million. Im not dismissing the casual audience, just was replying to the notion that those that buy systems for 3rd party games are "casual whores" like stated above. And...

Really sucks that 1080/60 for graphically impressive games is being skipped for the most part shooting for 4k/30. One HUGE question I have about the pro is will the beefed up GPU take the strain off of the overclocked cpu to allow games like horizon to run 1080/60? Or will they be stuck at 30fps at the beefed up graphics settings. Getting a pro cause I already have 4ktv and getting psvr, but I would appreciate some insight on how the cpu bottleneck will affect graphics and framerate.

Oh I see, so all 3rd party games are for "the casuals"...

F this gimmick hook crap. Nintendo's strengths that need to be highlighted are its brilliant IPs, which are released usually fully finished not needing day one patches like most other games.

People love Nintendo because of their games. Give me a system with modern performance, a launch window lineup with Super Mario 64/Sunshine type game, first person metroid prime game, on top of the new Zelda, and Ill buy day 1 for $400. Give me a powerful handheld that plugs int...
